"Wow, what a nice getaway from the everyday hustle and bustle. My party and I spent the weekend at Hunter's Cabin (though we do not hunt) to enjoy a tranquil time to relax and reset. The owner was great on answering any questions that I had. The place was exactly as described and was stocked with all the everyday needs like towels, pillows, linens, soaps, trash bags, food containers and more. All the beds and pillows were perfect and there were more pillows than I even needed, but I was happy to get extra comfortable on. The aesthetics of the interior are rustic like the listing states, while you have a modern sick, oven and dishwasher that made our meals and clean up so much easier. The gas fire place was a nice touch to have less work to do to the place nice and cozy. The cabin was extremely clean and all the instruction were well explained. We really enjoyed the long table in the back, even though our party only had 4 people this time around, it could have accommodated many more. Step outside and the nature around you calms you to the core. When we first arrived, we got out my Jeep and just listened to the stream for a few brief moments. The cabin is located on a private back road. It is not paved but cars will have no issue driving on it since it has packed gravel along the way. The scenery alone is purely breathtaking. I loved how everything in the cabin was designed and how it made us feel. We sat and ate breakfast while a family of deer passed through the woods."

"We got to house and tried to turn on electric fireplace but could not get it on, property manager told us to turn it on by remote but could not locate remote ,we let them know, went back and forth a couple days about remote to end up never having a fireplace on a ski getaway, and property was listed with fireplace ,when we checked out I let them know we were not happy and they told us it could have been turned on at the unit itself, too late for that solution, they should have gave instructions, there were none, they should have had remote in specific location, they should have told us it could be turned on at the unit, they could have sent someone to help. Also the fusbol table which was the other big part of listing was not functional because the handles were not properly installed"

"We had the best time at the Alpine house this weekend. My 14-year-old son said it perfectly when we first got there. He said" Mom, this house has things I didn't even realize I needed!" The house was beautiful inside and out, the decorating was perfect, the furniture was super comfortable, everything was immaculately clean and best of all they were so many thoughtful surprises. Our favorite surprises were the bottle of wine the host left for us to enjoy, the fire wood, kindling and fire starter that the host provided for us to use, filtered water dispenser, and the already made ice and pre-frosted glass in freezer for quick cocktails. The host also provided k cups for the coffee maker which was super convenient! We brought our dog and were so happy to find dog treats, dog bags and dog dishes for him. The house is perfectly located only 12 minutes from Shawnee and the Country Kettle. We also enjoyed playing ping pong and put the karaoke machine to good use. We will definitely stay here again when in the area!"

"Our trip was overall very nice. The place is super clean and has great amenities. The indoor pool was amazing for the kids especially after a long day on the mountain. The river in the back was beautiful! The house has plenty of space for guest to lounge and enjoy time with together. Shawnee Mountain is only 15 min away from the house as well. Kitchen is huge and plenty of seating. We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Host was attentive and answered my chats right away. When we were concerned about the pool filtration, they sent someone the next day to look at it. The owners really care about the guests enjoying the house. A few items we had an issue with but nothing crazy was that only two burners on the stove worked, one cabinet wast broken so i sent a picture right away to the host to make sure they knew it wasn't my group. Overall great place to stay, we would definitely come here again."

"The place was wonderful- looks just like the photos! The property is in a densely wooded neighborhood with a huge backyard and it's far set in from the street. It felt very private. The skylights in the roof are perfect for rainy days."
