The management was very pleasant. The room is very clean. My only complaint was that the bed was as hard as a rock.

easy off-on to I-84; charming town

Posted Oct 3, 2016
Pros: everything we needed was in the room .... very good
Cons: Clean the white woodwork on the door frames from time to time. Too many dark smudges (finger/hand marks)...
Location: just passing through on our way from Maine to West Virginia
Acceptable overall and reasonably priced. Didn't check out the coffee!! Restaurants nearby. Seafood restaurant across the street good.

Nice place to spend a night

Posted Aug 22, 2016
Pros: Price and location
Cons: Quieter air conditioner
Location: In the Poconos, so lot's of recreational activities. Grey Towers (10 minutes from hotel), family home of Gifford Pinchot, was beautiful.
Restaurants within walking distance. Shopping within a short drive.

Happy to get out of the rain

Posted Aug 1, 2016 on Hotels
We felt truly lucky for find a hotel room to get off of our wet campground so I will not complain about the uncomfortable mattress or cracked walls. Yes, we over payed, however they knew perfectly well campers will pay to get out of the rain.

it was fine except after driving 500 plus miles all I wanted to do was plug my phone in and go to bed. the problem was none of the plugs near the bed worked. I had to look for a plug to charge my phone not exactly what I wanted to do. other than that it was fine.

Quaint town for walking ,exploring restaurants and meeting friendly people. The motel was very old fashion with no coffee in the room. The price was too high for this type of out dated facility.

One night stand

Posted Feb 21, 2016
Pros: Convenience, price.
Cons: It is what it si.
Location: Milford is a tourist town on the Delware River next to the Delaware Water Gap federal park which parallels the river for about 12 miles.
Basic 50's motel: low ceilings, small, a bit chilly. Everything in working order, reasonably clean. A bit dowdy.

Milford Marvel

Posted Nov 5, 2015 on Hotels
The Milford Motel is one of the nicest small motels I've stayed at in years. I routinely stay in motels 30-45 times a year, and this is definitely in the top 5 for the past 15 years or so. Everything about it was excellent, from the warm greeting and helpful suggestions to the pleasant setting, and the comfortable room.
