Pros: The staff was friendly. Overall cute theme.
Cons: Needs to be updated and kept better.
Location: Mount airy lodge is close by, along with a nice restaurant called Basso.
Everything needs a little TLC. You can see the laziness in cleaning. Dust everywhere!

Glad it was only one night

Pros: It is a nice change of pace from the usual standard hotel room.
Cons: Maintenance and attitude of staff.
Location: Mt. Airy Casino, all Pocono resorts
We stayed at Paradise Stream because we thought it would be a nice finishing touch to the fantastic concert playing at the near by Sherman Summer Stage (Dokken, Warrant and Firehouse). After spending most of the time at the concert on our feet, having a great time, we both could not wait to get back to the room and take advantage of the jacuzzi. Shortly after it was full and running, we noticed the water level quickly dropping. The drain plug was in. A quick look around revealed that there must be an internal leak since the entire carpet was soaked. We had to lift the AC extension cord off of the floor to prevent a short. The next morning at checkout I informed the desk person of the situation and her reply was an unsympathetic "Ok, we'll check it out". For the amount paid for the room I would have expected the staff to be more concerned about our comfort even though it was only a one night stay. I was not impressed and will not stay or recommend this hotel in the future. I stayed at these resorts when they were owned by Caesar's and was always happy with my stay. This was a pathetic waste of a lot of money.

deceiving

Pros: unfortunately not much to like. while the retro design is appealing and the pictures online look phenomenal, the actual facilities were disappointing
Cons: a good old fashioned cleaning woud do wonders for the place. the rooms need to be upgraded.
booked a 3 night stay at the Garden of Eden for a romantic retreat with my wife. we left after one night. the entire place made my skin crawl. there were loads of horse poop on the road entering the facility. the outside of the hotel buildings were in need of a good power washing. walking to our building, we saw fried chicken laying in the pathway and the AC units were dripping moldy water. when we entered the room, we were overcome with a musty smell. the carpet, shower and furniture were old and dirty. the heart-shaped tub had hard water stains. the pool enclosure was stifling hot and uninviting. the overall aura of the place was just gross. we called Expedia within an hour of our arrival to cancel the remainder of our trip. we didn't even unpack and we were out of there first thing in the morning.

My stay here was great. Got a room upgrade to have a Lakeview. So pretty. The staff was very nice and knew a lot about the area.

Nice room

I enjoyed my stay at PS. I loved the room with the jacuzzi, pool and sauna. I also loved the indoor pool and especially the hot tub. Love the fact that it's open 24/7.

It was nice. Staff was friendly. When I went to nook the hotel. I asked about the upcoming NASCAR race. They said they weren't doing anything. When we checked in we here about a bus going. But we couldn't get on it. Not happy.

the resort and surrounding area

Pros: Our room was cleaned daily with pride and comfort!
Location: We enjoyed the horse back riding near by.
We were happy with the activities that were on the resort. The overall eye appeal was not appealing. You could see that the buildings needed updated, flowers and grounds could have had more appeal and the bridge to the facility was out due to flooding and you had to use the service entrance. The food was poor, perhaps a chief would be a good idea.

Great getaway. Romantic.

Pros: Clean and friendly.
Cons: Updating.
Location: Casino with in 1 mile. Main town within 3 miles. Walmart 3 1/2 miles.
We have stayed there 3 times. We needed more towels and room service was there within 5 minutes. Could use some updating, but our room was very clean. Nice grounds. Do not expect to check in early. All 3 times we have gone we would get there around 2:30 pm, and pre register. We have always gotten our room by 3:30 pm. It is a first come first serve. If you get there after 3:00 pm expect a line.
