Disappointing Overnight Stay

Some of our best vacations have taken place at aging facilities, so we weren't overly concerned when we saw pictures taken by other guests. We should have taken their other concerns more seriously.
We weren't able to check in at the check-in time indicated on our Expedia paperwork (3:00), and the front desk staff didn't call to let us know when the room became available, even though they said they would. The next morning, we went to get coffee, and the maintenance staff pushed in front of us (the only two people at the coffee station), to empty the trash before we put milk and sugar in our coffee.
We didn't bother to stay for the included breakfast, but forgot to pack my cell phone charger when we left. I called the front desk to ask them to return it to me by mail, and they claimed they'd call, but I still haven't heard back from them.
I've never written a negative review before, but this facility should have done better. I've been treated much better in facilities where I've paid a fraction of the cost. I would never recommend this experience to a friend.

We're very disappointed to read you found our staff to be rude. We're normally known for being incredibly kind and accommodating to our guests, so this is very surprising to read. There's no excuse for it and we will follow up with the Resort Manager to review with our team.
