It definitely fits in with the dracula theme. Especially if you make the drive to the hotel at night. GPS has difficulty finding it due to private drives, so follow the pin point, and not the Blue line when you get close.

There was water on a floor near toilet. 2. Device that hat a water worked whole night, therefore we could not sleep. 3. At next night there was a celebration, therefore we could not sleep because load music.

When we first arrived we didn't realize that inside was even more fabulous than outward appearance It had a feeling of a real castle We were impressed how clean and unique place was Highly recommended!!

Will be returning
We stayed for 3 nights, but would have liked a couple more nights to explore the area. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We booked a double room but were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet due to being out of season (ski resort), but has some fantastic hiking routes. Be aware locally you will need RON rather than euros. We will definitely be returning.

The hotel itself was really nice, clean and comfort. However we went at the wrong time, too late for skiing and too early for hiking and many shops nearby were closed.

NO amenities.
We drove all day in the snow to have one relaxing night at a hotel with everything on site. Wanted a hot shower, a cocktail, and dinner before relaxing and going to sleep. When we got there the restaurant and the bar were closed, as was the spa, it was 6 pm. I asked the desk person for ice but it had all melted. We asked for a place to go and get food and his directions were horrible. They have maps of the town, he could have used that. So we walked to town in the snow, ate at someplace different (but great! Casa Vlasin doesn't look like much but the food was delicious). Walked back up the hill, took a hot shower, one robe in the room didn't have a belt. The free toiletries is "bath and shower" gel in dispensers that are refillable, no conditioner, no bar soap. The shower head kept swiveling down away from my body. And breakfast was cold eggs, hard croissant, sliced meats and cheeses, toast and cold cereal. No fruit, no milk. Just disappointing overall.

Wonderful hotel
Great hotel and fantastic location. Only downside was the hotel restaurant wasn't open in the evenings, but only minor disruptions as there are some fantastic restaurants close by. Very clean and staff polite and friendly.

thou the hotel was out the town of brasov....it was a intresting concept...a bit difficult to find but very acceptable..breakfast ok....only the elavator goes up only one floor....after that you drag your luggage by stairs....still a hotel I would stay at if you do not mind driving the 12km into brasov....also no bus service to or near the hotel that I saw....so you will either need to have a car or use a taxi

Nice themes hotel
Great off season (ski season) hotel. Themed for Transylvania. Food was great as was the service. A little off the main road, but easy to find. Much to do an see within 90 minutes of hotel

Don't go there out of season- it's a winter resort
Unfortunately we went to this hotel in spring and we were the only guests there. We only went there because we thought a Dracula themed hotel would be fun but it is situated in a ski area and there were very few people around. Staff seemed to be conserving electricity and everything was dark and gloomy and we could barely see what we were eating. The room though was clean and.comfortable, but the mini bar fridge was very noisy (it was in the bedroom) and we were disturbed by dogs barking all night.

It was very strong noice after 10pm, imposibile to sleepp ( becouse some people rent it a restaurant )1am was fireworks. Breakfast poor. Second day I inform the reception worker: I n'ot want breakfast. He answer :Ok ! Next day paid for beakfast cca 8 eur.

A quaint hotel modeled on the Castle Bran. The room was quite nice, but Romanian AC leaves something to be desired. The staff was extremely helpful for all of our needs. Brasov Poiana is a cute little mountain town and worth the time to walk around on cooler evenings.

Great Receptionist....Okay Hotel
it is a little challenging to find the hotel, which is in the mountains near the ski area above Brasov. We couldn't get the a/c to work, so had to keep the window open, and had several flies in the room. The bed was rather hard and the bedding just okay. The receptionist, Ludmilla, was great to talk to, as the hotel only had two rooms occupied the night we were there. She took us downstairs to see the torture room and was happy to take photos. You can have dinner for two in the torture room...wish we had known! We had no choice but to eat in the hotel restaurant, as it is pretty isolated. It was fine...not fantastic....and fairly inexpensive. Breakfast the next morning was included, and we got to order from a menu. Eggs came with a basket of toast, and you could also order yogurt and cereal with coffee or tea. Everyone spoke excellent English!

A Neat Retreat !
We expected this place to be a little cheesy, but found the theme to be tastefully integrated. Very neat structure, on a beautiful mountain setting of mature forest. We witnessed a 'Dracula' themed party and dance the night we arrived, and enjoyed that a lot. Decent breakfast (even for an American pallete), and friendly staff. If we have opportunity to stay here again, we'll look forward to it.

One night in the mountains
The hotel is a bit out of the way of the town. You can see it being really quite cosy in the winter, but just seemed vast and empty during our stay. The room was comfortable and dinner tasty and we had a wonderful view of the mountains. Some staff were excellent and could not be more friendly. The dominant structure and theming of the hotel and website sadly didn't quite live up to our expectations during our stay although it was pleasant enough.

Special experience, extremely pleasant
Second time we chose this hotel to meet friends from Belgium, Israel and Romania during ski season. The staff is so nice, you feel you can ask for anything. We were 15 in total, so we sat long hours in the dining room, just talking. We were all received and they let us hang around, always attentive to our needs but not pushy. The rooms are very nice and the atmosphere of this castle is unique.

Das Hotel im allgemeinen ist ein echter Hungucker! Sehr authentisch und schön eingerichtet. Absolut Blitzsauber und hochwertig gestaltet. Sehr ruhig und idyllisch mit einer schönen Aussicht aus unserer Zimmer. Das Personal ist naja ich sage mal OK. Teilweise sehr nett und bemüht, allerdings auch wenig zuvorkommend. Nicht besonders gesprächig und teilweise sprechen sie nur Rumänisch. Man kommt mit Hänsen und Füßen auch weiter aber es würde dann doch einfach gehen wenn sie zumindest ein bisschen englisch sprechen würden. Das Frühstück war eine Enttäuschung. Frische Früchte heißt hier eine Mandarine und ein Apfel. Kaffe ist grundsätzlich kalt und alles sehr einseitig. Am ersten Morgen hatten wir nicht mal ein Buffet, sondern sollten uns was aus der Karte aussuchen. Da der Kellner keine englisch gesprochen hat, was das alles äußerst schwierig und unser Frühstück dementsprechende sehr mager.

Originelles Hotel, einer alten Burg nachempfunden
Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig, allerdings auch etwas einsam abseits des Touristentrubels. Originell (wenn auch teilweise etwas kitschig wirkend) sind Architektur und Inneneinrichtung, die gemäß dem Namen "House of Dracula" an ein Vampirschloss erinnern sollen. Negativ: Der Aufzug geht nur bis zum 1. Stock, weiter nach oben kommt man nur über eine zwar stilechte, aber unbequeme Wendeltreppe.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt
Wir haben die Ruhe und den Komfort des Dracula Hauses sehr genossen. Es ist eine gute Ausgangsbasis für den Besuch Kronstadts einerseits und für Ausflüge in die Karpaten andererseits. Das Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut.

Internett problem - ellers interessant hotell
Tomt Hotel, kun Ett ledig rent rom, helt mørkt, internett i rom etagen virket ikke, IT folk ved hotellet ikke interessert i å komme å fikse, ga en unskyldning om zone ute av drift, veldig negativt med tanke på at jeg ikke hadde booket dette hotellet hadde jeg visst om dette problemet. Måtte sitte i en spisesal/bar for å få internett kontakt. De burde ikke leid ut rom, når de kun har en person på vakt, på ellers tomt hotel, etter et stort party i dagene før.andre rom som var brukt var ikke rengjort etter party, og derfor hadde ikke hotellet alternativer å tilby for meg som gjest. Bruker nok ikke dette hotellet igjen, desverre!

Lækkert lille hotel midt i et bakke/bjerg/skovområde. Venligt personale. Intet stress og jag hvis man vælger at bo her. Fedt med våben og diverse ting hængende på væggene på gangene og værelserne.

Hyggeligt anderledes hotel
Vi var 2 par afsted på weekend skitur og hotellet lå tæt på pisterne - desværre ikke så tæt at man kunne gå men ok når man er i bil. Der var spa og lille træningsrum som vi faktisk ikke var opmærksomhed på da vi bookede hotellet men mødte ejeren i baren som viste os det. Hotellet er nærmest som en gammel borg indenvendig - virkelig special på den fede måde. Desværre var maden i resturaten kun middel, måtte vente noget tid på maden og tjeneren var i det hele taget ikke meget serviceminded selv om vi var de eneste i resturanten på det tidspunkt. Når man er på skiferie forventer man tidlig morgenmad så man komme afsted på ski men her var der først morgenmad fra kl. 8 og da kl. var 8.20 var tjeneren (den samme som om aftenen) stadig ved at fylde på morgenbordet så vi nåede ikke at se det fulde morgenbord inden vi tog afsted. Da vi gik kl. 8.30 var der stadig ikke kommet vand til te på borden. Tror desværre ikke det er et hotel vi vil booke igen.
