nice quiet hotel, pleasant staff

Posted Nov 3, 2017
Pros: location, close to motorway and large shopping centre but still very quiet
Cons: up date rooms, a bit dated but clean and tidy with coffee and tea facility
Location: Large shopping centre with lots of restaurants to suit every taste, cheap fuel as well, easy access to motorway
easy to find, quiet rooms, close to restaurants, near motorway, used while travelling through France as an over night stop off, will use again.

Posted Jan 11, 2017
Pros: It was very clean and excellent staff.
Hotel was easy to find, clean and very accommodating in relation to my dogs. The staff were very friendly and the food was of a very good standard. Would thoroughly recommend the campanile.

Campanile Poitiers Sud - Aéroport

Posted Nov 7, 2016
Pros: Dinner option available, room was comfortable and heating available on a cold night. A good budget choice.
Cons: Shower screen had gap at bottom that allowed water to escape onto bathroom floor. The receptionist was already aware (but not fixed though). Receptionist was also the waitress when not checking in guests!
Location: Near Futurescope and on a busy intersection with other hotels and restaurants. Easy to get out of Poitiers.

Would not stay here again

Posted Sep 24, 2016 on Hotels
The room itself was comfortable with evidence of recent upgrading of bathroom. However, the wind-down screen on the window was broken and could not be closed. When I pointed this out to the lady on duty, she was apologetic but could not fix it it and couldn't offer another room as the hotel was full. If you're familiar with Campanile hotels, you'll know that each room is looking directly on to a passage way used by all the residents on that floor, so we were left at 10 pm at night with no privacy and no way to block out the light from the outside lights. No compensation, even a partial refund, was offered because we had paid online. Also, it is very difficult to spot the entrance to this hotel, which involves driving over a footpath from a busy dual carriageway.

Overnight stay

Single night stay, like staying in a portacabin! Bed surprisingly comfy, and great location for motorway network, on site parking. The Chinese buffet next door very well priced and good food.
