Hotel is in very nice area

Hotel was in a very nice and quiet area and not too far from a lot of food places. The staff was very friendly and the complimentary breakfast was fantastic. The fitness center had very nice equipment. While we didn't get to swim due to the weather, the pool and hot tub appeared to be very clean. The room was okay. There was plenty of hot water for showers. The beds weren't the most comfortable and we found one very large roach in the bathroom which honestly could have been an off situation as we saw no others. The fridge wasn't very cold and the walls were very thin. With that being said, i understand that no hotel is perfect so I would say that overall our stay was very good and we would stay there again.

great hotel / deposit

Great hotel nice and clean but no mention of $150 deposit that they will bill your credit card and then refund it later which will take 3 to 7 days

Soccer 2017

We were pleasantly surprised with the newly remodeled hotel. Very clean, great lobby for our group to enjoy pizza at night. Staff very friendly. Pool area very nice.

Clean hotel

It has a nice free breakfast. The rooms were very clean and updated. Pool was freezing. No one delivers to them except 3 chain pizza places.

Nice clean updated hotel.

Pros: Updated, clean
Cons: more seating at buffet.
Location: About 1/2 hour (no traffic) to an hour (traffic) from Rose Bowl.
Very updated and clean. Great value for the price. Normal breakfast, but only negative is seating was full....no big deal, ate in the room.

Practical hotel not too far from Pitzer college

La Quinta Pomona needs upgrading and cleaning

Pros: location was okay - 9 miles from our destination for the event we were attending. Bed was comfortable; plenty of towels, plenty of space to unpack
Cons: Room cleanliness, condition of furniture, soundproofing of rooms, arrangement of breakfast area - too crowded in food area.
Location: Don't know what was nearby - we attended events in Claremont, 9 miles away.
The room was dirty - blood or dirt marks on the bathroom door; rust from the grab bar on the bathtub tile wall. The desk chair seat cushion was torn to shreds. Complained to desk concierge the next morning. Otherwise, the room was comfortable and fairly spacious. Then, excessive noise at 3:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. and 4:42 a.m. - from crying dogs who accompanied other guests in town for a national dog show at the fairgrounds that weekend. Complained the next morning to management, who said they'd forward comments to upper management. Followed up with Assistant General Manager upon my return home; he agreed to a 10% refund of the total cost of both of our rooms for the 2 nights.

Basic on every level

Cons: Offer to help with luggage at Check in Warmer and more inviting bedroom and linens Warmer light bulbs Breakfast options limited and full of sugar
Nothing fancy No creature comforts of home You can hear conversations in other rooms as you walk the halls

We had a very generous continental breakfast, a large true flat screen TV , very clean and well maintained rooms and grounds. Another great safety feature is that the entire hotel is only accessible by your card key.
