Disappointing hotel, friendly staff

Posted Dec 12, 2017
The staff at this hotel is exceptionally friendly and professional. The room itself was not very clean but did have a very comfortable bed. The floor in the bedroom were pretty dirty. The shower is very small. The continental breakfast was very disappointing as they had no coffee and very little in the way of food. The hotel itself was very secure as you needed your room key to gain access to the lobby as well as the rooms located on your assigned floor

Owned by Christians,has strict rules,like a dorm

Posted Dec 11, 2017
Pros: Staff was lovely, room was clean.
Cons: Hotel website and Expedia be a little more forthcoming about the strict smoking/drinking policy and the agreement you have to sign at check in.
Location: About 5 minutes off I-95. It's a quiet area.
Although the man at the front desk was lovely, he quickly explained that the hotel is privately owned by Christians and there is no smoking or drinking on the premises. Then he had me sign an agreement that I understood that if I was caught smoking or drinking, OR EVIDENCE OF SMOKING OR DRINKING WAS FOUND IN MY ROOM, I would be fined $250 and asked to leave. I had the only hotel room on the 5th floor because the rest of the floor houses a Christian social service foundation, and my hotel room opened up into their waiting area. Aside from those quirks, the hotel felt like a dorm. My hotel room was a good size and quite clean, but the building looked old and drab inside, and it felt very institutional. And there's no pool. Although I have a few funny stories, I'd never stay at The Forum again.

Very strange

Posted Dec 9, 2017
Low budget hotel. Minimal staff and facilities.Used to be a hospital and was converted to a hotel, still has the feel of a hospital. Very strange atmosphere as people meet here for church etc. Also there is a no drinking or smoking policy. Wish I read the reviews before booking.

Pros: Clean, quiet
Cons: Nothing
Location: Just stayed the night
This is an old hospital and 2 floors are rooms for rent. It is clean and quiet. The continental breakfast has lots of variety. There is a $50 deposit on check in.

didnt stay... filthy and unsafe area

Posted Dec 3, 2017
Omg where to begin. Unsafe wrong side of the tracks. Filthy rooms. Told them upon arrival I felt unsafe and didn't want to stay. Was told I can't cancel. Went to look at room and it was filthy!!! Like an old college dorm or a crackhluse. I told them I wanted to leave and it was filthy and I felt unsafe. I had Expedia try to get my refund and they were to I used my reservation and no refunds!!! I am very mad. Would give all 000000 if I could. This place is run by Jehovas as well. Don't k ow anything about that but guess they like filthy hotels.

Old hospital rooms trying to be used as a hotel

Posted Nov 29, 2017
Cons: Close it up and stop fooling the public
Hotel is falsely advertised on-line; pictures and rooms don't match up; we were assigned a room that smelled terrible and had to ask for a different clean room. Clerk said they offered only two floors for rooms in the building. The free breakfast was terrible and not worth the trip to get it..

Disgusting! Room looked like a dirty dorm room! Man at desk was rude and wouldn't refund my money. Expedia is working on it for me. Very unsafe area!
