Lovely hotel close to Pompeii entrance

Posted Nov 18, 2017
Pros: It's location - opposite the entrance to Pompeii and very close to the town centre with easy access to restaurants, shops and bars.
Cons: The bar didn't open until 17:30 each day and the self service coffee at breakfast was awful!
Location: The ancient site of Pompeii is just across the road and a tourist office was just 3 doors away where you could book trips to all the local attractions
This is a nice hotel which is ideally located for a visit to Pompeii. The front aspect of the hotel is misleading, but as you walk through the arch it opens out on to a lovely outside area under fruit trees with lots of seating and lovely lighting at night. Our hotel room - a mini suite on the ground floor - was very comfortable and modern. The bathroom was spacious with a lovely large shower, and the room had a small terrace which overlooked the garden. The bed was very comfortable and the large TV had Sky which enabled us to watch films and programmes in English! We visited in November so it wasn't warm enough to sit in the garden but we imagine it would be a delightful way to spend an evening. The inside bar is very small and there is limited internal space to sit, but this is only an issue during the colder months. There was a good choice at breakfast with both hot and cold food available from the buffet.

For the room we booked we expected it to be bigger, the food in the hotel was poor, no one to serve u at the bar, the hotel itself was clean and well positioned for visiting Pompei

Gen if Pompeii

Posted Oct 15, 2017
Great hotel very near the entrance to Pompeii ruins. Our room was big and quite comfortable. It had a couch in a little sitting area, a big and clean bathroom, and it was quiet. The hotel has this adorable courtyard where yo can have dinner and the food was great. The breakfast was a also good. For the price and the quality, this is a perfect place to stay in Pompeii.

Older hotel that is convenient to Pompeii

Posted Sep 21, 2017
Pros: The breakfast was good and varied.
Cons: Bathroom: especially the hot water.
Excellent breakfast, nice people working there, very accommodating. The room is dated, especially the bathroom. Sometimes it took the water more than 5 minutes to get hot. It is across the stree from the back entrance to Pompei. The front entrance is the one that is close to the train station.

Fantastic location

Posted Sep 21, 2017
Lovely hotel in an ideal location for visiting the ruins of Pompeii. Just a short walk from the hotel is a beautiful square with a Bascillica where you can sit and drink whilst soaking up the atmosphere. Hotel is good the room stayed in was economy. So a little dated and bathroom needed replacing but it was very clean and room was spacious with a little balcony. Staff very friendly. Great breakfast. Would stay again.

Best hotel in the area

Posted Sep 19, 2017
Pros: I booked a deluxe room but when I arrived had been upgraded to a suit, which was amazing - the best room I've ever stayed in
Location: It's fantastically located, almost directly across the road from the entrance to Pompei.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel, I would say this is the best hotel in the area and even when the new hotel across the road is built, I would go back to this one as it had a deluxe boutique feel with its lovely hidden garden area.

great hotel with good location.

Location: Very central to the ruins and cafes.
It was a wonderful experience. From first walking through the archway to discover the hotel, to the great dining areas.

Views of the coastline were spectacular.

Posted Sep 8, 2017
Pros: It was a great location, away from the crowds in Amalfi and Positano, yet centrally located giving easy accesses to both aforementioned towns.
Cons: Room furniture needs a little updating
Location: Great dinning opportunities just walking distance from the hotel.
More than I could have hoped for. Their were four of us traveling together and from this location we traveled to Amalfi, Positano, Ravelo the Islands of Capri and Ischa with relative ease. However the only negative experience to traveling, depending on the time of year you go, is using the public buses. They tend to get crowded very quickly and you may experience 30 min to an hour just to get on. If you don't mind spending 30 to 40 euro just to go 4 to 8 miles, which were the distances to the towns we visited than opt for a taxi.
