Never have I experienced such an absolutely poor stay as this one. This is my second year to stay at this hotel for a nearby event. They have supposedly been "under construction" since for at least a year now and they clearly haven't made any progress in the last year (literally large rolls of carpet sitting outside in the same place they were last year). Tried to get towels from the desk staff and they were out, so she asked us to walk to the other side of the hotel complex and wait for her at housekeeping and we waited so long we just left. The worst part of this stay was the unsafe feeling caused by the hoards of questionable looking men standing around and walking around the complex around 12am-3am (not even including those throughout the day). I should also mention being woken up in the middle of the night numerous times to what sounds nothing short of a family reunion outside my door. This hotel seems like it is on the brink of being shut down and/or being the safehaven for loitering and for drug deals to go down. This hotel is my only experience with the Choice Hotels brand, and if it is representative of the brand in the least I will continue to exclude it from my future travels and stick with IHG.

I do apologize for your recent stay at Quality Inn. Yes, we have been remodeling for sometime now as this is a large hotel and sometimes issues do arise so it take longer than expected. We do hope to have it completed shortly. Concerning our guests, we have many construction companies that do have their employees stay with us and we are extremely happy about serving them. We have lights around the hotel to protect our guests and also a security company that drives thru our parking area continually throughout the night. We also have a front desk employee who is available at anytime if you have an issue. I am sorry that you were inconvenienced during the night. If you had contacted the front desk, we could have taken care of the situation for you. Again, I do apologize that your stay with us was not what you expected.
