*Cozy Chalet Camper*

Vacation home in Port Angeles with kitchen
Summary:
Whiskey Creek Beach NW has exquisite views of the Straight of Juan De Fuca. The Chalet Trailer is set atop a grassy hill with incredible views of the Strait, Canadian Cascade mountains on Vancouver Island and Mt. Baker. Come watch the eagles hunt and the waves crash. Stroll the breach and bask in the beautiful sunrise and sunset. This location has the best the PNW can offer.

The Space:
Our little Chalet Camper is just fantastic. Expansive views of the the Strait of Juan De Fuca and only a short walk to the beach. The camper has hot water, heat, refrigerator and a cooking stove. You will also have your own fire pit and some chairs to sit outside and enjoy the view. Full-sized mattress to sleep on and a dining table. It is a short downhill walk to the bathroom and free access to the shower house. The camper is located in one of our RV sites, so you will likely have neighbors during the summer.

Located just 25 minutes outside Port Angeles, our guests can enjoy the serenity and beauty of the Olympic Peninsula with easy access to town and some of the best hiking, hunting, fishing and exploring you will ever find. There is so much to do in and around the Olympic National Forest, so take your time and enjoy your stay!

The Neighborhood:
Within 3 hrs of Seattle and Portland, this is a perfect getaway from the big city. We are nestled in the middle of so many beautiful spots to visit here around the Olympic parks. Only 25-30 min to the breathtaking Lake Crescent. There are numerous hikes and places to explore there. Not much further from that is the entrance to Sol Duc. Going the other direction you’ll find the Olympic Hot Springs and be close to Hurricane Ridge entrance . Cape flattery or the Hoh rainforest are not to be missed if you’re headed towards Sekui or Forks area.

* There is a great little store only 8 min from our cabins , Joyce General, that closes at 8pm. We are only 25 min from Port Angeles so if you’re looking for more options be sure to hit Safeway or Walmart off 101 before heading in for the night.

* Blackberry Cafe is a nice option for a meal out that is only 5-8 min from us. Family Kitchen and the One Twelve are two others near our place. In Port Angeles you have everything from amazing burgers at the Next Door Gastropub, tasty BBQ at Coyote Grill, yummy seafood and steak at Kokopelli Grill, Pho that’s the best at New Saigon. For quick and easy on the pocketbook, Fast Burrito with fresh tasty Mexican food . Also Sabi Thai has stellar Thai food. New Day Eatery has breakfast and lunch only, and is very good! Off the 101 on your way to Lake crescent, try out Granny’s Cafe open during the summer season.

Other Things to Note:
*Most GPS software is giving incorrect directions to our location. After you get onto the dirt road, you will come to a "Y" in the road. Follow the large red signs pointing to the right, and do not go up BeachComber drive to the left. Continue to follow signs to Whiskey Creek WEST. Our office is right after you drive through the anchors. We will be ready to check you in there.

* Lights are very minimal. Making for a beautiful night sky’s. :) Stars galore! If you plan to arrive after dark be sure to follow the directions we give precisely and ask if you any questions at all. I’d bring a flash light along as well for getting settled in your cabin.

5/5 Excellent

Great Spot
I found the campground to be a great starting point for exploring the peninsula and Olympic NP

1/5 Terrible

Did not stay here because my wife had hip pain
I was not impressed with the landlords reaction to my telephone call to let them know that we would not be arriving and the reason why. I was not asking for a refund but the first thing that she told me was that VRBO did not care about her or the travelers. I did not request a refund but she immediately said that she could no give me a refund. I am glad that we did not stay there.

Funky and fun
This property was unique with an amazing view, friendly manager and great trailer to call home for a few days. It’s not a luxury resort but is unique and friendly!!

5/5 Excellent

Cute camper
Really enjoyed the stay. I just needed a place to sleep and shower for the night as I was passing through. This was a great option. I could hear the ocean waves from the camper. Shower was very clean and water was hot. Temperature dropped at night, but the heater provided kept me nice and warm. Would definitely stay again.

An oasis on the ocean
This campsite on the straight of Juan de fuca was peaceful and relaxing. I can’t wait to book again! If this is your first time you should know that this is a campsite with tents, cabins and RVs. There are clean bathrooms and a shower on the property. The owners are super pleasant and accommodating! We can’t wait to go back
