OK, except thin walls

If they had built this hotel with thicker walls I'd stay there again. As it was I could hear way too much going on in the rooms on both sides of me (snoring, talking, moving around), so I didn't sleep well. Otherwise the beds were comfortable and the staff were nice.

Still under repair from the effects of Hotel Harvey, but otherwise a very nice stay.

Thanksgiving at Port Aransas

Pros: Nice staff and clean
Cons: They are working on getting back 100
Location: Port Aransas is very small so everything is close.
Hotel is still working on getting back 100% after Hurricane Harvey and they are doing a great job, room was nice and the bed was great. Wish it was a little closer to the beach, but still had a great time and will go back. Pool is back up and the hot tube will be up within the next few weeks.

Convenient location

Pros: Clean and easily assessable on the main high way on the island.
Cons: Inform customers about the temporary remodeling of their dining room and conference room.
Location: Easy access to the beach and fishing. Limited activities for tourists on the island due to reconstruction after hurricane Harvey
Room was really nice and clean. The only down side was all hotels in the area are experiencing renovation due to hurricane Harvey. The dining room area was closed down for renovation. The closest eating establishment was What-A-Burger eight tenths of a mile from the hotel and open twenty four seven.

Post-Harvey

Cons: Soundproofing between rooms. I thought the neighbors had their tv on all night. Next night I could hear their conversation clearly.
They're making a mighty effort to come back after the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. Knowing this, we were happy to sacrifice some comforts (wood chairs rather than an upholstered sofa, etc.), and no breakfast facility. Attaboy to them: they got us on the first floor, and everything (obvioiusly) was brand new. Nice painting job.

Hurricane Harvey left it in bad shape.

Pros: Very close to beach.
Cons: Hotel is being remodeled.
Location: Beautiful beach.
I had no idea that the hurricane had gone through there this year. Imagine my surprise when we get to the island and see the devastation. Once this hotel is remodeled it will probably be very nice. Room was not that great even tho we were on second floor.

Vacation

It was very pleasant! Very clean, staff was excellent! I’d definitely stay there again!!! In light of the recent hurricane they are rebuilding and never an attitude of being overwhelmed with the rebuilding. They are some strong resilient people in their community!!

Very nice stay

We arrived the 11rst day the hotel had reopened after Hurricane Harvey.The breakfast area & laundry were out of service due to storm damage-they were actively working on repairs.The ice machine was running the next day.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.The room was spacious.We had a king size bed & whirlpool tub.Very clean.walking distance to beach.The gentleman who checked us in was very informative.
