The room was very clean and well maintained. The staff was a joy to talk with especially the staff in the restaurants. I have no complaints about this hotel and I intend to use them again when I'm in the area.

Great hotel location. First time to the area and would stay here again. Loved how could walk to restaurants & shops as well as near path along the water. Room was spacious and clean. Great shower. Rooftop bar for a drink was an extra bonus.

While I understand it’s season, it’s still a pretty run down hotel for the price. They ran out of pillows and the excellent staff did make up for what the hotel lacked.

rooftop bar is fun and view is amazing, 88 Keys had a great dinner. Easy other dining options next door. Need to take off that they have a pool, it was filled in after the hurricane a few years back

Black stuff coming out of vent and no cleaning
There was black stuff coming out of the air conditioning vent ( photo). When we informed the hotel, they simply said that it was dust - so in their view dust is fine and so no action was necessary. As you can see on the photo the black stuff is not dust. Another problem is that this hotel does not provide daily cleaning services and they do not notify you of their policy. We had to stay with that black stuff on our couch through the duration of our stay.

Great NYE celebration in Punta Gorda. The rooftop bar was a great place to start and end the evening. Staff provided great service! The suite was very comfortable with special lighting amenities. Will be back again!

This is my second time staying at the Wyvern hotel. Both times it has been awesome. Conveniently located near a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel restaurant 88 keys is fabulous along with the rooftop bar. Best place to stay in PG!

I booked this hotel based on the beautiful pictures of the roof top bar and pool And thought we wound have an an experience here. We got here and the roof top bar was closed and come To find out the pool has been closed for years due to a hurricane. The food was awful and we threw it out because it was not even edible and I feel very upset because it was a complete waste of money. Horrible horrible experience!!!! I never provide feedback but felt compelled to share what a waste of money this was and how ripped off I feel right now.

We chose to stay in this hotel for 3 nights because it had a nice roof-top bar and restaurant. The roof top facilities were rented out mid-afternoon to late night for noisy parties and unavailable to hotel patrons on Thursday and Saturday night and the lobby bar was also rented out on Saturday night. Parking was unavailable because of the parties. We were not notified of this when we booked the hotel less a month prior to our stay or when we checked in. We received no discount or even acknowledgement that it was a problem. We previously stayed in the Mariott hotel across the street and it had a better view, nicer room, better amenities and they were honest.
