Nice hotel close to I-75

Great cookies! Michelle was very nice at check in. Everything was as represented and clean. Laundry area was easy to use. Good breakfast.

Wonderful bed!

Pros: The king bed and hot breakfast
Cons: Signage or something to help in finding this motel.
Motel is too far from GOD airport. Motel address would not work in our GPS and the motel is very hard to get into. We couldn't turn directly off of Kings Rd, very confusing late at night. Hot breakfast was very good!

Pros: I did have a good experience with a few of the front desk staff and the bathroom was well maintained and updated.
Cons: The hotel needs a renovation, particularly the rooms and bedding.
My checkin was handled well but the hotel condition is passable. From the lobby to the rooms it is obvious they maintain the housekeeping standards however, using fragrance sprays to “fragrance freshen” rather than a cleanliness clean. The room itself was large and the bathroom was very clean. The bedding was ok but the furniture well worn and during my week stay, the air/heating unit was replaced which was a welcome update. Overall I would not recommend a stay here as personally the use of the sprays and condition of the hotel did not warrant the prices being charged given the other hotels in the area.

Pet odor

Weird smell

Bed and pillows uncomfortable, 1st room had a weird smell that was so strong we switched rooms. 2nd room was better but had cobwebs across desk.

First time experience at Country Inn & Suites

Pros: cookies
Cons: Major overhall and cleaning
There was a horrible odor in the hallways and room; the carpets in the room were filthy. This is listed as a pet friendly hotel, but upon arrival they only accept dogs. We appreciate the fact that they made an exception for our cat, as he was in a crate. We would not stay at another Country Inn & Suites in our future travels.

Close to where we were working.

Pros: It was convenient and clean with friendly staff.
Cons: Learn to cook scrambled eggs.
Location: My wife and I came to Punta Gorda to repair the hurricane damage to our RV site at Paradise RV Park.
The staff we met were very nice and our room was clean. We will go back. My only wish is that they learn how to cook scrambled eggs.
