Noisy and uncomfortable

People lived here, low income, dirty, loud and smoking people. We couldn’t walk out of our room without smelling smoke from people who did not work and sat outside their room and smoked all day. Kids, who should have been in school were riding their skateboards on the a porch past our room, while we tried to sleep. Must have allows pets in the room cause our allergies were horrible and room stayed musty. Refrigerator stunk bad. We were there on business not pleasure so will definitely stay somewhere else next time

It is grear for a business stay or in transit stay

Pros: Room comfort and cleanliness. Quie
Cons: Lobby area, and complimentary rrefreshment area needs care more frequently.
Room great, location great, small pool area but nice and overall pleasant. Room clealiness excellent. However, front desk needs more training in customer care. I went to front desk and the room still was not ready but said i had to wait 15 more min. When i came back 30 min. later, they said they forgot about me. Did not give me directions to my room or any orientation on breakfst time or amenities. Person acted as I was bothering her. Did not have breakfast there so I cannot comment. Overall, they were not rude, but they could show more hospitality.

hurricane Irma

Pros: The staff.
Cons: nothing
The staff was wonderful during our stay.. A few came in special to make breakfast for us on the day of the hurricane. We lost power around 6:00 p.m. on Sunday . They came around and checked on us to see if we were okay. The morning after they came around in the morning with a cart filled with breakfast bars and danishs. We can't thank them enough..

Cockroaches

Pros: The staff were nice.
Cons: Get rid of the cockroaches!
We had 2 cockroaches in our room. I barely slept that night and cancelled our second night. I will not stay in another Days Inn.

Nice to stay close to my family

We checked in late...around midnight The gentleman at check in was extremely polite and accommodating. The rooms appeared to have been rehabbed to some extent. Their was a huge gap under our door. I didn't feel the need to bother the front desk, when putting a towel under the door worked. (I did notify them in the am) There was no hair dryer in the room, just an empty holder. I would have had to dress and become presentable to go to the front desk to retrieve one and felt, what the heck...lets let it air dy. (I did let them know in the am) The front clerk at check out was fantastic and very apologetic when I told her about the dryer. She even stated that someone would have brought it to me. I said thank you and That I just don't like to put people out. All in all it was a great experience. Will go back
