Staff was great.

Pros: The helpful staff.
Location: Close to airport. Shopping mall relatively nearby with good restaurants.
I was only there to sleep. The staff was extremely helpful and helped find places to eat that were located nearby. I got a good night's sleep and left in the morning refreshed.

it was under construction

had to wake up by 830 am unless you wanted to wake up to construction. wr lost powet at one point due to said construction. the staff was great and tried to make the stay pleasant, which for the most part was.

Thanks for staying and thanks for your review. Just to clarify, the power outage was completely unrelated to renovations. It was due to a traffic accident and the whole block was out for a period of 2 hours. We do apologize for the construction noise, but it is necessary in order to get the job completed. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Would stay again

Pros: Overall cleanliness was very impressive.
Cons: Two minor complaints were no working fan in bathroom, and really mushy pillows.
Location: Close to shopping, restaurants, and downtown. Very convenient.
Very nice hotel. Room , pool area, and hotel overall very clean. Good complimentary breakfast.

Dave: Glad you enjoyed the room, pool and breakfast! Our pillows, per brand standard, are feather pillows. We do have foam pillows that can brought to you for the asking. Also, our bathroom fans run on a central system from the rooftop. They are automatically on all the time, therefore no switch to turn on and off.

My stay at the hotel

I stayed here for 4 nights and overall my stay was nice but the house keeping staff were extremely RUDE! I had to callth front desk to ask to get my room cleaned and I asked for new sheets/blankets and new towels. they didn't think I noticed but they just made up the bed with the same old sheets and folded the same towels. When it was time to check out at the regular check out time 12 p.m. the house keeping lady harassed me until I left! I told the front desk that I was running a little behind, but the house keeping lady knocked on the door every five minutes to let me know what time it was and got an attitude that I told her I already let the front desk know I'm running behind. So she sat on her phone and waited outside my room and I could hear her mumbling and getting smart the whole time she waited outside my room! She was extremely rude and had a horrible attitude!

Nice for the price

I've stayed here four times now and can confidently recommend this hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was very good with more than the usual standard fare. Pool and hot tub were quite large and very relaxing. Hotel is close to freeways, restaurants and even has a hospital nearby (which we actually needed one year, unfortunately; great that it was so close).

A Place Not far from the Maddening Crowd.

Pros: Swimming pool and hot tub area were spacious and in nice serviceable condition. Lobby was homey and well kept with free coffee and snacks available.
Cons: Rooms were advertised with in room spas. Not so. Also pool towels provided were very small.
Location: Eateries and shops are within a quarter mile or more. 1 to 2 miles tops.
Nice hotel not too far from the Columbus Hotel. A 10 to 12 minute drive from the airport. Hotel staff was very pleasant and the rooms were nice. The rooms were shown to have a hot tub or spa area included. Not so. If you want that be prepared to be disappointed.

carpet dirty , bed not clean , breakfast not fresh , donuts ,biscuits, hot breakfast too, very slow internet ( almost like dialup speed), room furniture not clean , room cleaning service does not clean well and leave the comforter over b ed , BAD room cleaning service

Hotel is like a construction zone.

Pros: Room was clean and large,
Cons: The hotel needs to let customers know about nearby construction.
The hotel is surrounded by new construction. It seemed like most of the guests were construction workers. Parking lot was filled with construction trucks and equipment. Room was nice and clean. Was awakened at 5:45 AM by firemen yelling to evacuate the hotel. Fire alarms were not working in my section of the hotel. There was smoke in the hallway. I checked out a day earlier with concerns about the safety, and was told there was a short in the wiring, which caused a small electrical fire. No offer was made to compensate for my inconvenience. A small bottle of water was $2 in the vending machine. Not recommended!

There is a new hotel being constructed next door, but the construction workers that we have as regular guests are doing work on several other projects in the area. I do apologize about the fire alarm. It is not something we see very often at our property unless there really is an emergency. We are taking this opportunity to check out all of our fire equipment to make sure that it is working as it should be. Thank you! Mark
