"Staff was not on property as it is off seasons, but kind, accommodating and polite. The checkin was easy, bed was very comfortable, location was very practical. The rooms are small but functional. We disliked the lack of shower curtain, bad smell of bathroom and the fact that there is zero soundproofing. We were bothered by noise from other rooms etc."

"Property was overall clean and well maintained. Check in was friendly, quick, and easy to locate room. Breakfast in the morning was a plus - juice, water, coffee, some meat, cheese, bread and other items. Although it is right off of the main road where cars and bikes pass, the noise is nothing to make a big fuss over. Bathroom seemed renovated. Overall for the price I enjoyed the stay and will stay again this week once I return from Skopelos. "

"Overall, we really enjoyed staying at The Tree for just shy of 14 nights in September 2023, it’s prime location to all that the Skiathos Town has to offer is both good and not so good. The good is that The Tree was easy to book online via Expedia, upon arrival we were warmly greeted and quickly shown to the Penthouse apartment. Dimitri and his team couldn’t have been more helpful. The Penthouse apartment was bright, modern, clean and generally well equipped. Outside there is a spacious seating area with great views over The Old Port and The Bourtzi. A great place to chill out at the end of a long day at the beach and after dinner drinks till late. The not so good aspect is the noise from the nearby port bars until late. Don’t know why the local bars feel the need to or are even allowed to bang out loud music at levels better suited to a concert stadium until the early hours? Fortunately, The Tree’s rooms are fitted with double glazing to help with a more peaceful sleep. All things considered we’d be more than happy to stay again."

Fabulous hotel with an amazing manager

"We had to seek emergency accommodation after the floods and were lucky to get a suite/room at the Somnia. Nobody had wifi so the owner couldn't tell if our booking was real or not but let us stay for longer than our booking until we could safely get off the island. The room was huge and had a dining and kitchen area too. He put his team in to emergency clean up mode as the island had flooded and there was a lot of mess and damage at the hotel at ground floor level. We had no running water or flushes but the owner and his partner were so helpful and kind when they were under immense stress and pressure. It was really sad to see the destruction. The location was great for the port, probably better than our main hotel booking (Punta) so we may book at this hotel next year."
