Terrible..The worst experience I.ve ever had
The room had mosquitoes in it. One light out of three in the bathroom wes working. TV being free was not working. Plus a smell of mold permeated through the entire room

The room did not live up to any pictures of description at all. No staff on site at check in, only a security who had to make phone calls for a while to find my room. The room was dirty, mold in cabinets, dirty rusty refrigerator etc. Paint falling of interior and exterior. Water takes 5-10 mins to get hot. I requested a different room, and they promised me to get back to me. I never heard back, and ended up moving out of the hotel, loosing a day of paid stay.

Cozy and elegant little 'mountain resort' right off downtown. Beautiful architecture, appears recently remodeled (and still ongoing, with no disturbance to guests by any means) with fresh decor. The restaurant on site Ciao! was very good, a little expensive but worth staying in for two dinners and breakfasts. Tour company Island Experiences on site, our city&beach tour and guide Janelle were great!

Room was not soundproof! Conversations and the shuffling of persons traversing the hallway can be heard loudly. Footsteps from persons in the room above can also be heard. The view out the Room window was that of electrical generators which gave off annoying humming sounds the entire stay. No blackout curtains... so the electrical room was well lit, thus illuminating the bedroom throughout the night.

The property is unique since there is the local effect. No busyness of modern day hotels and lobby issues. The hotel is located in area of forest and alot of greenery including parrots and other beautiful species which flies over to the nearby mountain range. I would take this over the Hyatt since I love peace when i am vacationing.
