The staff and breakfast were great, everyone is obviously doing a wonderful job. But the building is old and smelled moldy

Nice facility. The only thing I wasn't too happy was the breakfast time. On Saturday they offer breakfast from 6-10, which is a good time frame, but on one Saturday I went down to the breakfast room at 9:35 and everything was gone. They put everything away. I had to ask the lady to give me some milk and fruit to at least have something to eat. From my experience on other hotels, they keep a variety of items until the very last minute, they keep refilling and putting more items that might be missing until the time they are closing.

Thank you for your input. While I was not here at that time, I do know that I was not overly confident in the breakfast person as her attitude has been starting to slip. she is no longer employed at this location for many reasons. I appreciate your input.

Great Stay

Pros: Location and cleanliness
Location: Went to the Daytona Raceway for a NASCAR race.
The staff was very friendly. Seemed to enjoy working at the hotel. Greeted upon entry, asked if anything else was needed. The room was clean and orderly. We will return when in the area.

La Quinta Port Orange, Florida.

Pros: 2 big beds.
Cons: Needs towel racks. As well, the tv remote got stuck on the same channel several times and could not be changed.
Location: Close to Daytona International Speedway.
I had an excellent stay at this facility. It was close to Daytona Speedway.

Nice Dog friendly hotel.

Pros: Dogs allowed. Clean.
Cons: Breakfast eggs
Location: A few miles to the beach. Shopping, resturants, gas near by.
A hotel being Dog friendly is my highest priority and my dogs were welcomed. Nice clean room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of eating businesses within walking distance.

Great staff, but the hotel is a bit rough

Pros: Staff
Cons: Needs a real sprucing up, and better signage to get in from East-bound side of road.
We had a family gathering in Port Orange, and many of us stayed here. The staff were really great; friendly and upbeat, but the hotel was pretty rough around the edges. Staff made up for the other issues though. Hotel is tricky to get too, as it is buried in a big mall area behind a lot of other stores...had to drive down and turn left into the Lowes parking lot and then come back around to hotel, FYI.

Overall the hotel was nice and very clean. Security was not so good. The first floor door by the pool and first floor door to the left of the lobby had card reader locks on them but poorly maintained. The pool door was a kin to the neighborhood pool entrance. I saw many people that would come in off the street and use the pool, yes, non guests. Traditional quite hours for a hotel were not observed, or enforced by staff. Kids would be running the hallways well past midnight. The free internet was just that....hard to connect, veeerrrrrryyyyyy slow. The hotel offered wi-fi under two separate headings, both were so slow that normal transaction could not be accomplished.Our room #201, was nice, comfortable, and at the end of the hall, so we didn't get too much foot traffic. Those things aside, I could stay at this hotel again on future trips. I just hope the security and internet issues get resolved.

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately we had a group of kids here that were very unruly or not properly supervised. Its unfortunate to the rest of the guests. We do have our limits, especially when there is one desk person. I have already refreshed the evening desk personnel on procedures so this hopefully does not happen again. The repair of the door locks is part of our renovation which I hope to happen soon. I appreciate your business and will continue to strive to correct these issues.

Friends stayed here last month, loved it. Five of us stayed here recently and also,loved it,great staff, very accommodating,felt like friends....rooms were beautiful, clean, the best towels we had in all the hotels we stayed at for a week in different states...best staff too.....great location for everything.
