“Although rurally located (this is Scotland) the cottages offer access within 45 mins to many differing attractions. We enjoyed the owners excellent advice on coastal trips, high hill ranges in national park, local walks with loch swims and secluded beaches. The local town of Newton Stewart is classical delightful. Highly recommend. Would’ve liked a separate shower or screen on bath and hot water controls good when mastered. Bed super comfy and fire pit fun. ”

“It was clean and the staff offered to help with any bags or see us to our room. We stayed one night on our way through town. This is an old building. It was exactly what we expected and needed. If you want a new hotel this is not it. You will be disappointed. However, it is quiet, worn but clean, cozy, and very convenient at a very reasonable price.”

“Cabin was beautiful. Very peaceful setting and hosts just leave you to it. Door was open for us arriving and hot tub was pre-heated. Would definitely recommend.”

“The property has everything you need and in a stunning setting. The large size and excellent layout of the home meant it never felt like our group (9 adults, 5 children) were crowded at any point. A fantastic play room area between the games room and main sitting area was a fantastic surprise and perfectly located to keep an eye on the kids. The bedrooms are lovely, clean and plenty of space.
