Cons: maintenance
We had a commode problem.. The commode was stopped up and the toilet seat extremely loose... We got service and cleared the commode but left the seat loose.. This all happened upon arrival..

Too close to a Rail Road.

Pros: Nice clean
Location: Too close to the Rail Road.
Both nights we stayed we were awakened by a Trains horn and the building shaking. This occurred twice each night.

Never got to stay- booked me in the wrong city

Pros: NOTHING
Location: Provide refunds for people who booked based off of your false advertising
I booked this room for the city I was going to be in. I went to the front desk and they had no reservation. Although the hotel I booked was advertised for the city I was in, the reservation was for a room in a city nearly 40 miles away!! And they refused to refund my money.

So nice, so comfortable

We were traveling through from Austin to Santa Fe. We booked enroute online. Very easy and convenient. Staff were off -the-charts friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was clean and very comfortable. We slept well in the cozy beds. The breakfast included was one of the best I have had in the States. We definitely recommend this hotel!

Hotel needs a lot of work.

You can see hotel in process of getting a facelift but not a construction worker in site the 4 days we were there. Construction materials took up all parking spots in the back, nowhere to park in the evening. The breakfast was less than mediocre and not fresh. You could see straight through the outside from the air conditioning unit in our room. Won't be back.

The best hotel in the area.

Pros: Its location and its cleanliness.
Cons: One of my towels had a stain (I'm very picky about this though).
Location: ENMU and Greyhound stadium are a couple of feet away from the hotel.
This hotel is the best in Portales. The staff is kind and amicable, the facilities are beautiful, and it is located a couple of feet away from Eastern New Mexico University.
