This property is 3 stars at BEST. Outdated property, had a weird smell immediately as you walk into the room. Bathroom shower curtain and shower head was dirty and disgusting. Hairdryer did not work, asked for another one and it overheated and sparks started flying. Bed sheet smelled HORRID in one spot and pillows were dirty. You can hear everything, the family below us had kids that would start screaming, running, and pushing around furniture at 6am in the morning. Service is very average. Again, this hotel is a 3 STAR HOTEL if I'm being kind. I rate it 2 stars. Would not recommend to friends or family. Was tricked with the "4 star" rating.

Vitors Village is so convenient to the village of Ferragundo - a short five minute walk. The rooms are large and nicely outfitted for your stay. The staff is incredibly friendly.

Very nice....doesn't get much better on ALL counts. The big surprise is the awesome little village for good eats, good bars, shopping and amazing views all around.

PLUSES: two good-sized pools, wonderful breakfast, clean rooms with comfortable beds, game room COULD USE IMPROVEMENT: 1. we paid for breakfast but my teenage son preferred to sleep in. I asked if I could prepare a small plate to bring to him and was told "no". Not even a yogurt and piece of fruit! 2. we had to purchase a $10 towel to use at the pool NOTE: the market near the front office sells drinks (beer, soda) at only ~$1 each. The bar sells the same drinks at 4x the cost. We learned to stock up!

Recommend for visit to Ferragudo
Vitors village is a clean and comfortable place to stay. 5 minute walk to the small town of ferragudo and 15 minute walk to the beach, both of which are recommended. The hotel conprises a number of buildings housing a few rooms in each. The main pool did get a bit noisy with younger children at times, but we used the lower pool, which is more peaceful

Relaxing and enjoyable
Very enjoyable stay. Facilities very good. Staff excellent. Food good but pretty expensive. Accommodation very good and very clean. Great value for money. Few minutes walk into the square down a steep hill. Ferragudo has some great restaurants (especially if you like fish).

The room was exactly as described. Very clean and spacious for two people. The pools are excellent and the small shop has essentials you forgot when doing your main shop. Reception is clean and manned at all times with multi-lingual staff. Next time we come to the area for the motorbike circuit which is approximately 25mins away, we'll definitely use again.

They have 3 nice swimming pools but they do not provide towels for the pool! It would be so nice if they would add that amenity, otherwise you need to purchase it from the mini market. It’s a waste as most don’t know this and you likely won’t bring a wet towel on your onward journey! Grounds are nice and village concept is calm and well planned.

The Resort was extremely well presented and the staff were very helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. We enjoyed the view from the Skybar at night and the pool was gorgeous. A little walk away we found a restaurant with traditional Portuguese food which was incredible. So all in all a great stay.

Great place
Great place to stay in a lovely area, but not for the boozy people. Some great restaurant's also very close by. The accommodation is very good and clean, could do with some softer pillows though.
