A decent deal for the financially challenged.

The rooms are all accessed via stairways and outer doors. They have the expected accommodations. The heater in my room was turned off when I arrived at 9 PM and it had been 34 to 35 degrees out all day so the room was freezing. I turned the heater on and it was noisy with fan and compressor noise. I set it at what I thought would be a comfortable setting and went to sleep. At about 2 AM I woke up sweating and the room was somewhere around 85 Deg and still heating. I turned the fan back down and finally was relieved from the noise for an hour or two of quiet bliss. Then, when the fan kicked on again it woke me from a deep sleep. The room itself was pretty boxy and tight. The water flow noises from the unit next to me was significant. Overall, it's a decent place at a discount price. Not something I'd want for any more than just the one night.

Thank you Randy for the feed back sorry about your heater. Just so you know there is a knob that you can turn to adjust the temperature. I had our maintenance man check if there was anything wrong with the fan. Our check in time is at 2 PM I would recommend coming a little early turning your heater on and then the room will be warm so you can turn it off before you go to sleep. Also Google maps says it is a 8 minute drive downtown and its on one road that runs all the way to the heart of downtown being a major city though you should expect a little traffic around 3pm and 5pm but maybe you got lost. Our staff would be happy to give you directions for a faster route on your next stay. Hope this helps and have a wonderful day Randy.
