Great for an overnight stay.

Posted Mar 16, 2017
Pros: The bathroom was very large. There were two separate bedrooms in our room.
Cons: Could use a counter to put the mini fridge under and the microwave on instead of stacked in the corn of the bathroom.
Location: Just outside of downtown Portland. City to the north and outlet mall to the south.
Stopped for an overnight stay that was affordable and close to town.

A decent deal for the financially challenged.

Posted Feb 26, 2017
Pros: It's access to the street was easy. Access to the interstate from that was also easy.
Cons: Spend some money upgrading and repairing the facilities.
Location: It's in a mostly industrial area with grocery stores and auto parts stuff. A 20 minute drive to downtown Portland. A nearby pizza place and a Subway.
The rooms are all accessed via stairways and outer doors. They have the expected accommodations. The heater in my room was turned off when I arrived at 9 PM and it had been 34 to 35 degrees out all day so the room was freezing. I turned the heater on and it was noisy with fan and compressor noise. I set it at what I thought would be a comfortable setting and went to sleep. At about 2 AM I woke up sweating and the room was somewhere around 85 Deg and still heating. I turned the fan back down and finally was relieved from the noise for an hour or two of quiet bliss. Then, when the fan kicked on again it woke me from a deep sleep. The room itself was pretty boxy and tight. The water flow noises from the unit next to me was significant. Overall, it's a decent place at a discount price. Not something I'd want for any more than just the one night.

Thank you Randy for the feed back sorry about your heater. Just so you know there is a knob that you can turn to adjust the temperature. I had our maintenance man check if there was anything wrong with the fan. Our check in time is at 2 PM I would recommend coming a little early turning your heater on and then the room will be warm so you can turn it off before you go to sleep. Also Google maps says it is a 8 minute drive downtown and its on one road that runs all the way to the heart of downtown being a major city though you should expect a little traffic around 3pm and 5pm but maybe you got lost. Our staff would be happy to give you directions for a faster route on your next stay. Hope this helps and have a wonderful day Randy.

Hello this is Jake at the Aladdin, glad your stay was good. I'm curious About what way was the bathroom wasd musty like sombody just took a shower? I know our maids clean all room after check out proficiently so maybe there is a water leak in the bathroom that can be the only explanation i can think of. We would appreciate to know what room you stayed in so we can give it a look and fix the problem for future guests

Close to where I needed to be for work.

Pros: everyone was friendly and the room was clean
Cons: There was very little variety of the complimentary breakfast, fruit and muffins
It was very close to where I needed to be for work for the time that I stayed. Everything was nice as expected.

Best hotel staff

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The best part was the front office guys and Andy, who were above and beyond helpful when I got stuck in the snow.

We realize how bad the weather was. We wanted to make sure all our guests were safe and able to travel out into the streets. Best, Aladdin Inn and Suites

Stay somewhere else!

Posted Nov 28, 2016 on Orbitz
We called on our way to the hotel on Thanksgiving day and said asked if there was an available room to check in early. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and acted like it was a huge inconvenience to move our room around to an available room, then we arrive and there is literally 95% of the parking lot empty because nobody was staying there. If we weren't checking in on Thanksgiving Day we would have found another hotel. We get into our room and it smells like cigarettes, stains on the carpet, lampshades, the front door is falling apart, potentially bodily fluids splattered on the walls. They offered zero in room amenities except the half roll of toilet paper in the bathroom- no hair dryer, no clothes iron. The towels looked liked something that you use as rags and were the thinnest rattiest things ever. You could request the hair dryer and iron from the front desk but you had to go up there yourself and the front desk lady was again very rude and seemed very bothered she had to get up off her rear and do something. It was a non smoking hotel yet everyone was smoking and flicking their cigarette butts wherever they please. And definitely don't stay here if you actually want to sleep! The walls are so thin you could hear the person above us on the phone and blowing his nose. The bed was very uncomfortable and didn't even have a completely sheet set, only a flat sheet over a cheap mattress cover that kept slipping off and you would find your bare skin on the mattress
