Comfortable hotel

Good location...within walking distance to mall and a nice park. Fun pool w hot tub!

Comfortable and Great Location

The hotel is very close to I205 and the Vancouver Mall. The rooms are very comfortable with some decent lamps for reading. The breakfast provided from 6 am to 10 am is more than enough to fuel your day. Eggs, sausage or bacon, potatoes, toast, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt, and more on the buffet. lots of tables and chairs so you can have breakfast without feeling rushed. The staff really seems to enjoy serving their guests too. The lone blemish is a single elevator which isn't very fast so it can cause traffic jams during peak hours. This will be our first choice whenever we visit the area.

Location: We spent time in Downtown Portland. It was about a 20 minute drive away from the hotel. It was easy to navigate via GPS system once we were on the fr
Though busy this weekend, the check in/out process was fast. Our 2 queen beds room was clean and relatively spacious. The fridge was a larger dorm-style fridge. The hotel was in a relatively quiet location. The hotel was very busy but we did not notice noise from other guests on our floor or others, lack of food/beverage at breakfast, etc. The indoor pool was newer and nice. The small spa and sauna were a nice addition. No pool towels were available; they were used and clean ones not restocked. Parking was very tight and limited. My mid-sized car didn't fit in many spots as other vehicles parked close to or on the white parking line. My car physically wouldn't fit in those spots. Doors would have been impossible to open on my car or the neighboring vehicle had we been able to wiggle our way into the tight spots. The back part of the lot is very dark. We had to park there. Thankfully, nothing happened to the vehicle except a nice big dent and scratch from someone's vehicle door. Breakfast was ok. The hot food was prepared elsewhere and reheated in the microwave. Eggs and sausage patties were rubbery and oatmeal was very sticky and overcooked. Bread products (which I can't eat) were prolific on the menu and my family said they were fresh and good-tasting. My kids loved the choices of 4 small waffles or 1 big waffle from the waffle makers. There was a nice selection of beverages and the hotel even stocked soy milk. It's good to know the front desk process was a breeze and your room was clean, comfy and quiet. We're glad you enjoyed the pool area however, we do apologize for the lack of clean towels. We will be sure to be on top of this in the future and encourage you to let a staff member know if you ever need anything. Our parking lot can get tight when our hotel is nearing capacity and parking around back will be necessary. We're sorry to hear you received some damage to your vehicle and we regret it occurred on our property. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it sounds like you and your family were able to fill up. Although you passed on a few items, everyone was able to find something they liked and the waffle maker was, of course, a huge hit. It is our hope that you will consider staying with us again.

go thru expedia for cheapest rate . not realizing we get elder rm. or disable rm . something that we dont need . for conveniences for our visit . we might just need to recap on rm selection .

Wrong room

I booked a 2 king bed/2 bath suite for 6 people but when I arrived my room had been switched to a 2 queen standard room. The staff told me I would get a $20 discount and a free roll away bed. The hotel was booked, so they couldn't move us. $20 off my bill didn't even make the price difference in rooms. I was beyond dissapointed. Other than that the hotel was nice, nice pool, good breakfast.
