The maid service went above and beyond what I expected. Nora is her name. She was so helpful anytime I had a arm full she would offer to help and without a second thought, I wasn't able to walk half my stay due to a recent foot surgery. I stayed at couple of weeks and didn't need everyday service on my room but I did get new towels and coffee and such just by asking. The women were so nice, especially Nora. I hope the hotel knows that she is a great asset to their hotel. Everything was great. I will recommend this hotel first everytime.

Stay in Vancouver

Posted Jan 19, 2016
I was in town for a week and stayed at the Best Western Plus for 5 of those days. A female alone, I felt very safe and comfortable. The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was good, both hot and cold items. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

great bargain for the location

Posted Jan 18, 2016
Pros: location, cleanliness, staff
Location: shopping, downtown Portland with museums and more shopping, musical events
This place was spotless! It was very comfortable and quiet. There was tons of shopping around the hotel and it is really close to everything I needed in downtown Portland.

Near the Vancouver mall, not far from PDX.

Just what I was hoping for

Posted Jan 12, 2016
Pros: The cleanliness
Cons: You could sell the breakfast throughout the halls and even in the room.
Location: If you have small children, check out a Dizzy Castle. Fun place for kids to play and have fun.
This hotel was very comfortable and very clean. The staff was very polite and efficient. Stayed here before and have not been disappointed.

Conveniently located in Vancouver

Posted Jan 7, 2016
Pros: Large clean, well-equipped rooms, location close to mall and freeway
Cons: Soundproofing. Maybe put the pet rooms in one area (would think dogs on the third floor would be rather inconvenient)
Location: We were visiting family and due to the weather a lot of things were closed. The mall and the mega-cinema was open...and crowded.
Nice lobby, friendly staff. Enjoyed the cookies, tea, coffee and cocoa in the lobby and there was an additional coffee maker in the room. Huge room with two doubles, a desk and a rather unusual armless chair/bench with an ottoman. A love seat or two regular side chairs would have been more comfortable. There is an indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub. The hot tub didn't work and you apparently have to turn the sauna on and wait for it to heat up (nice if you have a few extra hours). Breakfast was hot, but only difference day to day was whether it was bacon or sausage to go with your eggs or waffle. That was fine with us as plenty of other choices, except for the last day when they were running out of food an hour before it closed. It might have been because of the weather: first snow, then freezing rain, then ice. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to where the pet-friendly rooms are; in our 4 night stay we had a barking dog next to us on two nights (different dog). Our room was one of those adjoining ones and the sound came right through. Another night it was someone coughing. Maintenance was great - our fridge was in its leaky death throes and they replaced it right away.
