Sst Among the Mansions

The Cape Arundel sits on a wonderful spot with views of the ocean and the Bush compound at Walker's point. The Old Fort Inn where we stayed is a short walk or golf cart ride away. The room, second floor, was spacious and included a fireplace. Breakfast each day overlooking the ocean at the Cape Arundel was excellent as was our dinner. The staff are extremely accommodating and make every effort to please their guests. There is a paved sidewalk along the coast for walks, jogs and bike rides and a walk into Kennebunk takes about 15 minutes with shops and restaurants along the way. There is a nightly shuttle that runs from 5PM to 10:30 PM which was very convenient and always on time.
The homes near the Arundel are out of a movie - breathtaking to look at. The Arundel attracts very nice people, more couples than families and we would stay again without reservations. Great spot to tour Maine or just enjoy the surrounding Kennebunkport area. The people we met and the staff really make the place special. Maine has a certain hospitality that you find in all the staff at all of the restaurants and shops which makes each experience special.
