I decided to treat my daughter to a weekend get-a-way, since we are confined to living in a motor home. She, unbeknownst to me, invited a school friend to swim, whom later stayed in the room with us. Upon check-in I was advised that the debit card I used had to have my name on it, which it didn't, due to recent fraudulent activity and new card issued. The hotel attendant advised me that hotels won't charge cards without the name on them. She made me the exception, which I was VERY pleased.
Basically, the room was clean and roomy. I've read that the train was disturbing, but I didn't notice. The pool was AWESOME for my daughter and her friend! They swam for 5 hours. The hot tub wasn't functioning, but that's ok.
OMG! The breakfast? So good. the eggs and sausage were delightful. Waffle machine (once I figured it out) was so good....fresh fruit, coffee, oh so good.
I'm impressed, because I read all the ratings before going. I wasn't disappointed. The neighborhood isn't as bad as they say, though I did see a tent pitched for a few of the homeless in the parking lot (not theirs), but that's life.
Good job Comfort Inn....my daughter is sore from swimming. oh....and the wifi is better than my house.
