Cons: piles of dirty room laundry (sheets/towels) were left all over the hallways and near the elevator. It doesn't leave a pleasant taste in one's mouth.
OK hotel. Close to everything. I loved hearing the train. It evoked positive childhood memories. Room was clean, which was my #1 requirement. Wifi was easy and reliable.

Beautifully redone, close to freeway access, shopping, landmarks, and restaurants. Friendly staff, clean, and all around a great place! Would stay again!

noisy...near railroad tracks

Posted May 25, 2016
Pros: not much....front desk people were very nice....
Cons: too much to mention
Location: don't know.....we were there for a funeral so didn't do anything else....
they don't tell you until you check in that they are right on the railroad tracks....during the day you hear the crossing signal constantly....lets up a little at night....sounds like the train is coming through your room.....beds and pillows hard as rocks....very uncomfortable....neither of us slept well at all.....they say to call front desk to order breakfast, lunch and dinner and they will bring it to your room....not true....only dinner.....had to go down and get our own.....normally not a big deal but when you are told one thing and then they don't do it not a good thing....will not stay there again....

Okay stay

Posted Apr 15, 2016 on Hotels
Definitely an older business style hotel. We were surprised to find a railroad that ran behind the property, and the hotel did provide earplugs and chamomile tea, plus the offer to move rooms if the noise was a problem, however we slept well. Overnighted here while travelling which suited our purposes. Not really a vacation destination since hotel located in a business park area. Close to Portland and a good price. At check-in it was unclear whether breakfast was included in the price of the room, and for the quality of the food (nothing fresh-just microwaved prepackaged items), we should have just gone out to eat on our way out of town. Now you know. Not bad for the price, but having been there, I probably won't go back.

Our stay

The clocks were too bright. You could shut off the light, but then you didn't know the time. There were no cups or glasses in the bathroom area.

Railroad Noise!

Railroad track and crossing right next to hotel! Such a shame, beautiful hotel, friendly helpful staff, comfortable beds, but cannot overlook the railroad crossing. Very noisy trains in the middle of the night will jar you awake...
