Trash around the stairwells, stains and spills on the concrete, shopping carts parked under the stairs. Checkin poorly executed by the staff. Interior room space passable but only barely. Damaged wall surface, remote for media didn't work, chips in bath tub. Never again

We started in the first room and the bed fell apart within seconds of touching it and the room reeked of cigarettes so the moved us next door. The door would not open properly. You had to keep trying the door and literally slam into it over and over until it opened from the second they checked us in. We complained and asked for help every day and got told the guy kept calling out. Then we asked for the dishes they are supposed to provide and they had none the whole time. They were unwilling to help with bedding and linens throughout the stay so we washed them ourselves for $6 a load. Don’t stay here.

We were assigned our room. We went there open the door and the room was trashed. Towels and garbage all over the place. Load the luggage back in the car and go to main office. Both myself and my son are disabled and require a main floor. We were told they had no other rooms and ours would be ready in 30 minutes. Mind you this is at 430 pm fine we left came back in an hour assuming our room was clean. Nope still trashed. Load the luggage back up and back to the office. We were then assigned another room which was clean but smelled like cigarettes but that smell went away. Beds were hard as rocks. We were happy to leave. Our home was having new floors installed and we need to stay elsewhere and close to the brain therapy place my son goes to. It just was a terrible experience sadly

Booked this property because I had had a good experience with it's sister property in San Jose. But I ended up checking out immediately and stayed elsewhere. The carpet in the lobby was sticky, there were construction workers and random people loitering all over the property even at 8pm, and my room was extremely dirty. Crumbs and debris all over the table and carpet, and the bedspread was covered in bleach stains. The front desk worker was super apologetic but there was no way I was comfortable actually sticking around. The property is also pretty isolated and did not feel safe.

Dirty Room - Cancelled but was still charged
I checked in to my room late on Sunday for a work trip and it was filthy. The toilet was coated in diarrhea, there were dirty socks on the bed, and ants on the counters. I spoked to the woman who had checked me in and told her I would be going down the road to another hotel. She apologized and told me that I would "not be charged a dime," but my card was just charged for the full stay and the hotel has not replied to my messages.

The continental breakfast was pathetic, tiny blueberry muffin, old and one blueberry! Instant packaged oatmeal and I paid for a continental breakfast? Ice machine broke down. Had to drive to find a bag of ice? It worked but not that happy.

there was no shower curtain, the bathroom light fixture broke in the middle of the night, there were no trash cans, and the whole room was not properly cleaned. they were short staffed that day and we had to wait almost an hour after check in to get our keys, due to the rooms still being cleaned.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed.
The check in took almost 45 minutes, first the card is no good to open the door, next the room has not been cleaned yet after last guest check out, then the third room is also not cleaned yet. So in total, I made three trips to the office and carried luggage to two different buildings and the rooms were all in upstairs (there's no elevator in this establishment). Finally when we entered the fourth room which she said is a good one, we found kitchen was dirty, there is no any kitchenware, refrigerator was dirty and so was the microwave. The bathroom was barely cleaned. We had the worst staying experience and I told myself never ever stay Extended Stay America.

Unclean room upon check-in. We were accommodated with a room change. The second one was better but still gross. The floor was so dirty you could not walk from shower to bed without washing feet again. So much dust it made me medically ill. The lamp was falling apart and likely a fire hazard. We couldn't use it. The hair dryer was so dusty it lit on fire. Walls had what looked like small specks of feces or blood. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The so-called breakfast was non existence. They only had a few packs of plain instant oatmeal and packets of cocoa. The water wasn't hot enough to cook the oatmeal. The baskets for the other items were empty . There was still 2 hours left of breakfast time window. Ridiculous when the descriptions advertise breakfast included in prices. This place is extremely run down. The only good was the front desk clerk was polite about the first room not being cleaned. It appeared as if staff started and didn't finish. I was charged for checking in a little early just to have it nasty.

Not clean & full of long term occupants
Many long term occupants. The name of the place should have clued us in to that before booking! The hallways were filthy ( cigarettes, trash, a large pile of soiled linens in the stairwell, full stinky garbage cans). It needed a good power washing or even just to be swept. The room was ok- we had a young child on the pull out sofa bed. It would not have been suitable for an adult. The mattress was beyond terrible. The king size mattress was decent. Our security lock only had 1 out of the 3 screws so it was wobbly & probably not really functional. The staff was helpful, but they are clearly understaffed with the cleanliness of the place. The landscaping was beautiful and well kept. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Great stay at Extended Stay Tigard
I always like to cook my own food and Extended stay completes my stay with a range top and full size frig. The micro wave in my room was not working, mentioned it at the front desk and as immediately provided a new micro - I was impressed! Not much for breakfast so plan to cook your own (my preference)or eat out Also like it is in a safe out of the way location for safety.
