Just outside of downtown, but still very convenie.Posted Oct 6, 2015
I stayed at the hotel for the Portland Marathon. It was a nice hotel, very clean. The staff was nice, but not very knowledgeable about attractions downtown. I asked two different people about tours and they didn't have any answer for me. Not a big deal, but I like to get input from locals before I spend my money on touristy things.

Close to familyPosted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: Location, clean rooms
Cons: Hot oatmeal instead of instant.
Nice hotel, close to our family in Vancouver and plenty of restaurants. Breakfast was hot and plentiful.

Very good accessPosted Jul 29, 2015
Cons: Internet service
Location: Close to exits and access to downtown Portland and the Columbia Gorge
Very good access but a bit noisy in the rooms. The internet access complicated as only three devices allowed (we were four in our party) and at the front desk couldn't help me to disconnect the devices. Overall very nice experience.

terrible customer servicePosted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: breakfast was very good.
Cons: TV was very small and the remote did not work. Not to mention the toilet. Indoor Pool was very small and uninviting.
Location: Good location.
Toilet did not work in the room. I was told to use the bathroom down the hall. Next morning when I talked to the front desk they did not even know about it. Said because I booked through Expedia they could offer no discount. I didn't ask for a refund just a discount. The room was $179.00. Expedia is just as bad. I have tried calling three times and each time I was put on hold over twenty minutes until my portable phone died. why can't a complaint like this be handled via email is beyond me.

our short visitPosted Jul 6, 2015 on Hotels
It was a real quick get away took our daughter shopping at the Lloyd Center for her bday. The only thing i would of like would be a little refrigerator in our room to keep drinks cold, and maybe a ice machine on 2nd floor,we had to go up to the 3rd floor to get ice but it wasn't working or it might of ran out of ice so then we went to 1st floor to get ice then back to our floor which was on 2. Other than that everything was GREAT!!

Great place to stay. Only complaint is limited parking on a busy night. Bed was VERY comfortable, rooms appear to be well insulated for sound, we were right next to the elevator, and never heard it operate, or people coming and going, very impressed with that.

Good hotel poor locationPosted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: The lobby, staff and breakfast
Cons: Unfortunatley the building cannot be moved
Location: It is near the airport but most restaurants duringn the week requires you facing the I-5 Bridge traffic
The hotel has a nice lobby, the staff is very friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. However , the rooms are on the small size and the location is terrible. It is situated right up against MLK blvd entrance to the I-5. If you have a room away from the parking lot, you have trucks rumbling 30 feet past your window when there is no traffic jam. Afternoons starting around 3 the traffic inches past the hotel for hours.

Thank you for your comments about your stay. Our hotel is located near I-5 and Marine Drive, providing easy access for travelers. If sensitive to noise, we always suggest our guests reserve our standard King rooms as the majority are located away from the traffic. Best wishes for safe & happy travel.
