We are locals, stayed here due to prolonged power loss from a storm. We were pleasantly surprised in everything!! First of all, I cannot say enough about the INCREDIBLE staff, especially front desk manager Melissa....above and beyond. Pets are allowed for a daily fee. Pool area is small. Continental breakfast provided. Parking ample and free. Easy access in and out of building. Very safe. Hotel is a little outdated but clean. Carpets could be replaced. Excellent hot shower with great water pressure. Microwave, fridge and keurig in the room. Very comfy bed with quality linens and pillows. Nice big flatscreen TV with lots of channels. Plenty of places to charge electronic devices. Heat in room was tricky to adjust. Iron board, iron and hair dryer in room. Quiet...do not hear your neighbors. We were very pleased. Reasonable price.

I stayed overnight due to a storm after working 14 hours. The room next to me had a barking dog and room across had a younger crowd. The fridge was warm, bathroom toilet running, shower with dark hairs. I can't recommend for someone who needs a good night sleep.

Hotel is in need of a major room refresh. Bathroom shower was slippery and sink was noisy. Check-in staff was super helpful, but checkout staff (for a very early checkout) was no where to be found.

We stayed for 2 nights and were happy with the hotel. The front desk clerks were all very friendly. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable enough. Nice dark curtains for sleeping. Breakfast was very nice. Wonderful selection! Hot coffee was definitely a plus! We will certainly stay there again.

Good staff, floors needed serious cleaning
Floor was very dirty so we kept our shoes on so our feet wouldn’t get dirty from walking in the floor. Furniture was dusty. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Better than expected
Older hotel and it looks sketchy from the outside but very clean and quiet inside. We had a court side room and it was very nice. It wasn’t a handicap room but the sink and shower head were pretty low but perfect for me at 5’1- usually the shower heads are so high I have A hard time reaching them to adjust. The tv, microwave, a/c and fridge worked good. The grab and go breakfast was convenient as we left both days to tour Portland which is a short drive from hotel. Lots of eating and shopping choices close by. Front desk personnel were very nice and helpful .

Overnight stay in Portland
Our one night stay was wonderful. Hotel staff had excellent customer service, Our room was clean, comfortable, priced right, In good location with the airport and the grab and go breakfast was just what we needed. King size bed was comfortable, extra pillows and large screen TV were a plus. If in the area in the future we will book it again.

Comfortable and clean
The hotel is in a good location, near conveniences. Since it was a visit to see family, we only used it for sleep time. Consequently, we did not use the pool or sauna or exercise facilities available to us. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the Keurig actually worked in this hotel! Desk staff was courteous and helpful. Having fresh brewed coffee and a granola bar, available in the lobby, to start the morning was pleasant. The only drawback was that our room faced the interstate and the walls were not a soundproof as I would have liked. Overall, it was a good stay.

Only concern was police officer requesting access to room to get possessions of an individual who had been arrested. I didn't think that was a great recommendation. Police officer did say it was an unusual situation.

Very thankful we had this option! Prices were insane downtown, Fireside was affordable and we enjoyed our stay. Super clean and not as loud as you’d think being off the highway. Ubers were usually $10-15 and 15 minutes to downtown. Would definitely recommend for a budget option outside Portland!

We had stayed there years ago and loved it but was very disappointed this stay. The pool was dirty, the AC was controlled by the hotel and only came on a couple of times which made the room and things in it very musty and wet. It was also disappointing thst there was no longer any restaurant inside the hotel.

The staff at check in were very friendly. They allowed us to check in early as our room was ready. Our room was clean and the beds comfortable. We were only here one night and left early so we didn’t use the amenities like pools and hot tub but they are a nice feature to have.

Dirty bed sheets!
Checked into room at 11:00pm on Friday Aug 11, 2023. When I folded down the bed the sheets were dirty! Didn’t want to know what the stain was exactly but…It was VERY CLEAR the sheets had NOT been cleaned. Right underneath on the mattress cover the exact stain was there as well! This of course leads you to believe the whole room was not cleaned. The hotel was fully booked so no chance of changing rooms. I alerted the front desk but apparently they only have one person working at night. She eventually brought sheets at approximately 12:10pm handed them to me, said she couldn’t leave the front desk alone. Paying over $300 a night and this is the service…and this was supposed to have been an “upgraded suite” I was told the next day I would hear from the manager after 9:00 am it’s now Thursday Aug 17th…have not heard anything from anyone! I will never recommend this hotel with service like this. CHECK YOIR BED SHEETS!
