Pros: clean and new
Cons: finish construction
Ok except, tv was on demo mode and flashing features every 3 minutes across screen. Loud noise like dumpster crash at 3 am.

Comfortable, but room smelled unpleasant/old.

Pros: The beds were nice, bright white and very clean and comfortable. Nice, clean room. Abundant towels and nice washing accessories. Quiet. No smoking.
Cons: Bad (old) smell. Price.
Location: Central Portland.
Extremely small lobby. I have to admit that this is the first Hilton brand hotel that smelled unpleasant, somewhat old. They probably need to renovate the carpets or something. The smell got worse when we entered the room. The beds were nice, bright white and very clean and comfortable. Nice, clean room, but not overly spacious. Abundant towels and nice washing accessories in the bathroom. Nice and quiet, no smoking, even at the parking lot, which I liked A LOT. Hotel staff was pleasing but did not go out of their way to help me with the internet and printer connection in their business "corner". Nice and quiet. Stayed for 2 days. Price was ok, but we had better deals for better this price before. Breakfast was just ok. I guess it has to do with the central Portland location. Most good brand hotels in Portland are somewhat worn out. Will probably stay again at this hotel if they lower their price.

Staffs were kind and room was clean but, new bathroom door didn't have handle, wasn't good remodeling idea.

I would of given all 5 eccept for the beds and pillows were on the soft side. I like a little more firmness ans support.

Great option close to airport and freeway access

You can tell Hampton Inn is part of the Hilton family. Everything was a little better than the competition in this price range. Location on 181st allowed easy access to airport and freeway to Portland avoiding I205. Room was just spacious enough, amenities nice, staff eager to please, and breakfast very nice.

Very nice convenient time airport

Great hotel, excellent treadmill and breakfast. A bit noisy due to traffic but got pretty quiet at night. Appreciate the non smoking facility not just room.

Great room worth paying 40% more

Paid 40% more than i usually like to pay as a good night sleep imperative. Didnt mean to reserve handicap accessible, but pleased with quality; appreciate people with disabilities are treated well. Comforter was too warm and near an exit door which slammed a few times. If you want to sleep in don't get near and exit door. Hotel staff "authentically" friendly helpful. Everything else excellent.

Difficulty sleeping...

Uncomfortable pillows - trying to be cute with down pillows. They don't support. Terrible bed, tossing and turning b/c I wake up with back pain and need to reposition. All night every night (4). Breakfast was just ok. Pool/hot tub was great. Everything else was fine.
