Great location and nice hotel

Posted Aug 29, 2015
Our one night stay exceeded expectations. The hotel was clean, facilities were well maintained, breakfast was very good and very reasonably priced. Kids buffet breakfast was free. Breakfast staff was very friendly and efficient. Very easy walking to the heart of Portland.

Great location- walking distance to everything

Posted Aug 10, 2015
This is a very nicely situated hotel. We were very close walking distance to nearly every part of the city we wanted to see- shops, food, ferry, beach. Love the in-room microwave and fridge (which is meant for you to use)- that's fairly rare nowadays. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was great (made to order omelets in addition to standard hotel breakfast). The little extras like fruit infused water, tea, coffee, and hot cocoa in the lobby were great. Definitely would stay there again. The only negatives were very thin walls - could hear flushing, water running in all surrounding rooms. Also the paint on the ceiling in the bathroom was mildewed and cracking in some spots.

Great location in Old Port

Perfect location with great, friendly staff. Kids love the pool, and adults love the fantastic restaurants close by, fitness room, and location. Wish the fridge weren't so noisy.

Good Place to Stay

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Cons: Wifi access throughout hotel.
This is a good place to stay as it is in the Old Port section of Portland. So you're on top of what's happening. Menu is limited in restaurant but will do on a rainy night. Breakfast selection was nothing spectacular. Wifi doesn't work if you are too far from lobby which is a consistent problem with this hotel chain...very annoying. Not sure if you pay for the prime wifi it is any better.

In the heart of the action. Great food.

Pros: Location
Location: Along the docks and near the ships, food and museums. Lots of shopping. We love Maine!
We will stay here again. Convenient to the things we came to see and do.

Pros: Great location.
Cons: I would prefer self-parking, but having a any parking space in the Old Port is gold.
Location: Best in Portland. Everything is within walking distance.
Had an excellent overnight. We could not have been more pleased.
