The continental breakfast had nothing that was gluten free and we had a guest in our party who has an extreme allergy (a child). So she couldn’t have anything, not even the sausage :( Otherwise the place was great!

The hotel was clean and our room was quiet with a very comfortable bed. My husband enjoyed the breakfast. The staff was very friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

The heat wasn’t working. When I asked if maintenance could come in they assured me they would fix it. Still not fixed when I returned. Asked for another room and I felt like I was inconveniencing them!

We did have maintenance come look at the heating unit in your room. It does look like it is working. With that said, If the room does not sense movement in the room, it will shut down. In the future we can always disconnect the sensor so your heat will continue to run. I am truly sorry the front desk agent made you feel like you were an inconvenience. This is definitely not okay. We were sold out during your stay, therefore would not have been able to move you to another room. In the future, please feel free to ask to speak to the manager if you have any issues or concerns that are not handled. I will gladly make sure you are taken care of. Thank you again for sharing your experience and we hope you give us another chance in the future!!

The afternoon/evening staff treated me like a number, not a person. I did not appreciate it. The morning staff was better. The breakfast has taken a nose dive from the last time. I stayed at a Holiday Inn express. The food was tepid, tasteless, and soon cold. for 150 dollars, I expected more. I won’t stay at Holiday Inn again.

We checked in on Friday afternoon. We left and returned around 8 pm. Our smoke alarm was chirping when we returned to our room. We called the front desk and the clerk told us that they would send maintenance up. After approximately half an hour (listening to the continuous chirping), the front desk called to tell us that they couldn’t get maintenance to come, so they would move us to another room. After repacking and moving our items to our new room, we turned on the television and found that many of the channels were not available. Also, two of the reading lights weren’t working. It was late so we decided to report these issues in the morning. Saturday morning, we spoke with the desk clerk and they said they would have maintenance take care of the problem. When we returned that evening, nothing had been repaired. Also, our room was very cold even though the heat was on. My husband is battling cancer and was exhausted so the idea of having to move again was too much for him. He needed to rest. The heat never came on so we ended up sleeping in our clothes and adding an extra comforter to get warm. The heat finally came on around 5:00 am. When I spoke to the front desk this morning, I was told that they couldn’t reduce our charges because I had booked through a third party. The staff were courteous but did not ensure that our stay was comfortable nor were our concerns dealt with. We will not stay here again.

Sheila, Thank you for taking the time to share the issues you had during your stay. I am truly sorry to hear you had to move rooms, just to move into another room that had issues as well. I did speak to the front desk agent that was on duty the night you checked in as well as all other front desk staff about the issues you delt with. I want to assure you we do thrive to meet all guest expectations. This should have been a simple fix by changing out the battery in the smoke detector. I have made sure to set aside some time for more training, so this type of incident does not happen again. Again, i am truly sorry and hope you give us another chance in the future

Between the Bed that was so uncomfortable it caused me a LOT of pain and was as bad as sleeping on the floor, and the lack of noise-reducing insulation between rooms with the guy next to me having a loud hacking cough all night, it was the worst night I've had in years and I got almost no sleep and was in pain when my alarm went off in the morning. Definitely not staying there again. The place was nice in every other way, but if you literally cannot sleep And the bed hurts your body, what's the point of staying there.

What a great surprise. In town for 2 nights. Quiet hotel. Great front desk service (evening clerk was very kind and efficient). Nice breakfast and especially clean. It may seem trivial but great fluffy towels and plenty of hot water. Easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants. I will stay here again.

Stay here. We go to Hillsboro/Beaverton a few times a year to visit family. This is THE ONLY hotel we've stayed at near Tanasbourne/Orenco that I've booked more than once. Staff smiles and is friendly. The entire place is clean. Rooms are clean and confortable. The breakfast is like places used to have pre-2020: potatoes, premade omelets, sausage, biscuits & gravy, pastries, yogurt, juice, hardboiled egg, bread/bagel/bear claw, pancake machine. Hot coffee. Juice. Tea. 100% better than the Courtyard of Marriott.
