DisappointingPosted Aug 6, 2015
Got there after a ten hour drive from Utah and asked for an early check in (I had NEVER had a problem checking in early before) they said they had no rooms ready yet because they were booked full the night before. Fine, that's understanding they took my information and said they'd give me a call as soon as one was ready. Keep in mind as I was talking to them 3 separate people went up to check out of their rooms... So, we went to breakfast and drove around the area for about an hour altogether we were gone 2 + hours from when we tried to check in... Still no call. We drove back to the hotel and walked into the lobby, no one greeted us, the lady that was helping me originally, was now ignoring my existence. Still as we were waiting (15 feet from the front desk) at least 6-7 separate rooms all checked out. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I stay patiently waiting I understand it takes time to clean the rooms and get them ready... Still no response from the front desk, no updates such as "We're getting a room ready for you right now...", "It'll just be a few more minuets..." nothing. Finally my girlfriend (who was just as tired as I was) got up and walked out to go wait or sleep in the car. At this time it had been 4 hours since we had originally walked in to check in. I sat there staring at the clerk waiting for her to say anything or to give me any sort of customer service. I got nothing. So I approached and said please tell me there is one ready. Nope.she forgot about me.

I would like to offer my sincere apologies on your unpleasant check in experience at our hotel. I have spoken to my front desk staff to gather more information and to make sure something of this nature does not happen again. I hope you give us one more chance the next time you are in the area. Nice, clean hotel. Close to The Edgefield. We went to a concert and it was a nice, easy stay.

Excellent personnel, especially front desk. Good breakfast buffet. Would be better to have a sink in bathroom. Thanks!

A good and clean hotel but underwhelming breakfastPosted May 22, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel pool was extremely over chlorinated so much that my face was swollen and poofy in the morning if we swam the night before, the breakfast was OK, not great, not what you'd expect from a holiday inn

great stayPosted Apr 28, 2015 on Hotels
The hotel itself was great. Staff friendly, premises clean, etc. The only real complaint is about the street signs and needing to circle the freeway to get back to the hotel, which is more of a complaint with the city/state infrastructure.

Hotel and room was clean, breakfast was better than most, and the inside pool was a hit with the kids.
