We Enjoyed the happy hour dinners and drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful! There is a nice brew pub near by.

Great experience

Posted Sep 9, 2016
Pros: Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great suites, convenient to where I needed to be.
Cons: As noted above, some repairs were under way, but every place has to deal with that once in awhile. They were very careful not to let it interfere.
Location: I was there for medical appointments and it was very convenient to hospital and clinic. Near Oregon Zoo and Childrens' Museum. Not far to downtown.
Thoroughly enjoyed this establishment; wished my schedule had allowed for more than one night there. There really was not a negative throughout the stay. They were doing some plumbing work in the portion of the complex I was staying, meaning some hallway walls had exposed studs and piping. Didn't look too good, but it didn't affect the water supply to my room. Hotel staff and contractors alike were very careful to make sure it didn't interfere in any way with the stay. The rooms (all suites) were very nice, even exceptional. It was very convenient to locations where I had appointments and meetings. They offered a complimentary dinner as well as breakfast. I didn't have a chance to sample the dinner, but the breakfast had more choices and seemed tastier than most places I've been. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, many nice little touches (e.g., ceiling fan in the bedroom). I was frankly surprised this establishment didn't have a higher rating; I've stayed in 4-stars that weren't as nice.

Wait till they finish the renovation

Posted Aug 18, 2016
The hotel is in a okay location, not in Downtown but in a short drive away. The front desk staff is nice and the check in is quick. However, once we got in our room, we found out that the whole floor is in construction and the room smell mold. We booked a suite with a king bed and sofa bed. Not recommend the sofa bed for any adult because it's very uncomfortable. We didn't use the kitchen but the electric stove top looks loose and not in right place. So if you'd like to stay here I strongly recommend that you wait till they finish the renovation.

Room not ready

Posted Jul 22, 2016
Room was not ready when we arrived 3ish. Came back at 5 still not ready. Wait 10 minutes. Ok we did then keys didn't work. We were told the ground floor rooms take awhile to update the computerized swipe card. I'd never heard of such a thing. After 1/2 hour asked an received new key cards. They worked. The hotel was booked solid due to tennis tournament nearby. So we were given the handicap room. Not a problem. But we were told we could not park in handicap since we didn't have handicap plates or mirror hanger. Had to park on other side of bldg when there were spaces right outside our room. Staff would not guarantee car would not be towed of we parked there. Good points...great breakfast, room was very nice.

Went out of their way to fix Expedia's issue

Posted Jul 20, 2016
Pros: Staff was excellent with a great service attitude.
Cons: Expedia booking descriptions should say "Smoking" if that's what they are, and not assume that the lack of "non-smoking" means "smoking" to everyone.
Expedia did not make it clear that I booked a smoking room for my family. In fact I guess when it doesn't say "non-smoking", I was supposed to assume that this meant smoking. The hotel was completely booked, so they could not change rooms, but they went out of their way to clear the smoke smell and actually did a very good job. Aside from the hallway smell going to our room, it was really not that noticeable. The rooms were clean and nice. The kitchens were nice for avoiding too much eating out. The beds were comfortable. The pool was perfect for the kids.

The entire place is dated.

Posted Apr 22, 2016
The entire place is dated. We got put into a smoking room that wreaks of smoked despite requesting a non smoking room and having a 7 year old with us. The staff was super apologetic and tried to put some kind of air purifier that did not work. The decor is from 1980s and anything that was once white is now a dingy yellow.

Wonderful hotel with all the comforts of home!

Posted Feb 29, 2016
Pros: The complimentary meals, staff friendliness, location, clean eating areas, room was cleaned daily, I can go on and on!
Cons: I can't think of a thing.
Location: Elmer's is a great restaurant and it's right down the street! It's next to highway access making day trips and sightseeing convenient.
This was such an amazing experience. The staff here were always so helpful! Complimentary breakfasts and dinners were a nice touch which helped our budget while traveling. The food was great, and the eating areas were kept clean. The room was so comfortable and really felt like home. I loved everything about this property and will be glad to stay there again on my next visit!

Homewood in Hillsboro

Posted Jan 23, 2016
Location: Located in area around several other hotels near the main highway. Close to large shopping and food area as well as downtown.
The suite was very nice and comfortable with lots of room. The shower/tub area was very small compared to the rest of the suite.
