Convenient location... Grumpy staffPosted Oct 6, 2015
I was placed in a room close to an exit for ease with my dog, and I greatly appreciate that. But when you book the room it doesn't let you know that it will be an extra fee per night to have your pet. The lady at that checked me in was short and curt. Obviously not a fan of her job. The room was dirty and the carpet is old.

Great stayPosted Sep 28, 2015
Beautiful hotel. We loved the large rooms. Very comfortable and felt very much at hone. Breakfast was great. Ladies did a great job even though guests were not always nice to them. Dining room was spacious and liked that there was no tv. Thanks to all staff!

Near Perfect!Posted Sep 8, 2015
Pros: Very pleasant staff. Clean, spacious and modern suite.
Cons: Really odd bathtub. Difficult to stand in due to sloping sides. While the rest of the suite is newly remodeled, the tub area looks 20 years old!
Great location for winery visits. Salad restaurant right next door was surprisingly good.

Great experiencePosted Sep 8, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, complementary breakfast, kitchen, location
Cons: Sound of air conditioner
Location: Perfect location as far as proximity to Portland and nearby shopping and restaurants
This ended up being the perfect place to stay. It was only 20 minutes outside of Portland and was very easy to get to. It was also convenient to shopping. The room was comfortable. The kitchen worked out perfectly. The hotel staff was excellent and the free breakfast was a great feature. The only downside was the air conditioner was loud and the humming woke us up whenever it came on. We had to turn on the fan to avoid the noise.

Stayed for the weekend. Didn't read the fine print and if the room doesn't say non-smoking, it is a smoking room. We ended up in a very strongly smelling smoking room the first night. We weren't able to move because the hotel was completely booked. The staff the next morning were very helpful and moved us into a non-smoking room. They offered to moved all our belongings, which I didn't expect. During our entire stay, staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel is clearly a bit older than the décor, and some of the fixtures were dated. The sofa bed was not the most comfortable to sit on, but the lay out of the rooms was great. We really enjoyed having the extra space to spread out with our 3 young children. Would definitely stay here again!

Nicely designed suitesPosted Jul 29, 2015
Very nicely designed suites with all the necessary kitchen stuff to be able to have a few meals in the room. Pretty easy to hear people moving about in the room above. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was OK but could have had a few more options.
