The staff was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay in Portland and the Lucia was well-located. The restaurant is fantastic!

In the heart of the city w two great restaurants. Very artsy and modern, but small rooms and bathrooms.

Swanky hotel for romance

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Great hotel with really comfy bed. The hotel has two nice restaurants inside. Both highly recommended. Close to Portland night life. Bathroom items were oddly super short. Low shower head and short sink and toilet.

Nice hotel close to the center of the town

Posted Aug 14, 2015
Pros: Art in the lobby area. Interior design.
Cons: Elevator
Location: Its location is convenient for accessing I-5, as well as the east side and the northwest side of the town. It is also located near the major stores.
The interior of the hotel, both in public areas and our room were nicely decorated. I particularly loved art in the lobby, although photographs in the hallway of the 6th floor was overly Republican. Considering the price, the room was quite small. The bathroom was as small as those in Japanese business hotels. Our room looked right across the windows of the office building. The elevator needs a serious update. The parking at $40.00 /day was the stiffest I have paid in the Pacific Northwest. The parking staff was great, polite and helpful.

Swanky Hotel with Fantastic Service!

Posted Aug 13, 2015
This boutique hotel is located conveniently in the Pearl District of Downtown Portland, so it's steps away from shops (including the famous Powell’s Bookstore), cafés (including seemingly endless street food carts), and all kinds of public transportation. The interior design is gorgeous - think black & white photography, rich colors, and a lounge-y vibe. The staff was also the nicest and most helpful that I've ever experienced! A bit expensive (as all the hotels in Portland seem to be) but the location, beauty, and hospitality of this hotel make it easy to recommend.

Good hotel, but overpriced

Posted Aug 6, 2015
The hotel is nothing spectacular, but nice and clean. I think the prices are too high for what it is though. I travel a lot for work so I've stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the US.

Not One of Portlands Best Hotels

Posted Aug 6, 2015
Too expensive, no refunds, no cancelations, room was so small I thought I was in s smart car. Bathroom had blood in it on check-in Add to that... Somehow I have two Exoedia accounts and expedia will not combine my accounts... Total experience? Awful. Marks for the hotel Lucia ZERO.... For Expedia's recommendation .... Zero...

Overpriced for Motel 6 quality

Posted Jul 31, 2015
The "upgraded" king room was smaller than a standard king room at any normal hotel. I spent $400 for one night at what I thought was a nice, well-decored hotel. While the furniture was cool and it had a classy vibe, it was a disaster for the price. There was only a foot between the bathroom door and bed on one side and on the other, only maybe 4 feet to the wall where you could lay your suitcase. We called and ask if this was their "upgraded" king, and we were moved up a few floors and added maybe 3 feet extra. But the new room was worse: The water took 20 minutes to get hot. The drain was clogged and I took a shower in ankle deep water. The AC was broken on a 100-degree day in Portland. When we called for help in the night, they said they had no maintenance staff available and offered a fan. The towels were rough and small. Overall, it was a total disappointment. If I wanted to stay at Motel 6, I would've. However, when we left they did offer to comp our $40 valet--oh, joy! What an offer!!

Nice hotel in downtown Portland

Friendly staff, free valet parking, and walking distance to lots of shopping and breweries. Nice hotel, however, we found a previous guests pajamas in a drawer, which made me feel as though the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned.
