For a newer hotel at the higher end not only did the A/C not work (tried everything to get air, the temperature in the room never went below 75) but then tries to call the front desk and the phone was broken as well.

Staff was not all on the same training basis. Got told one thing checking in and was told a different checking out. Staff seemed to not be on the same page about parking price or dinner credit. Hotel over all was nice and clean.

Overall the hotel is nice, however we were told different things by multiple staff members. The restaurant needs more staff during dinner, they forgot parts of our order though out dinner. I didn't get my dinner until everyone at my table had finished eating. Checking out we did not get the credits we were told when we checked in so the manager did his best to make it right but still ended up paying way more then expected.

Good location, front desk staff were nice, and the beds were pretty comfy. The main hotel areas weren't super clean though the room was clean. Drawbacks are the fan was extremely loud and we had to turn it off so the room was hot. Also the wifi was terrible - we got kicked off constantly and when connected the signal was usually poor. I didn't get any response when I told them the wifi was bad. Now that hotels basically charge you for wifi with amenity fees you would hope it is usable...

At the Expedia, it was saying that I will pay only 321$ for 4 days. But in the reality, they are taxing you with Guest Amenity Fee, which is 25$ per day. So their price is not 80$ per night. It's 105$ per night. That's not nice. Also, I said to them that's the price on Expedia. And they are saying to me "We can't see the prices what Expedia gives to you. That's our prices."

The location of the hotel was very convenient, lots of alternative modes of transport nearby. The room was clean and the decor attractive. Staff were very helpful where they could. Had only two issues, the wi fi was'nt working on the 4th floor, and I wish the hotel would add a "real breakfast" in the restaurant; otherwise I was happy with the hotel and will stay there again.

Not much effort made to upgrade our room. The breakfast option was strange, only pastries like doughnuts $4 each. Not really 4 star. Espresso machine broken but got drip coffee for free at least. Didn't use the dart board, pool table or guitar, other items that precharge US $25 per day "resort fee". You can have a microwave if needed delivered to the room. Room was nicely appointed and comfortable. TV gave you no guide except a written list and you had to wait to see what was on and gp through all the adverts. Again not really 4 star. Food in restaurant was good and staff friendly as was reception.

It is a nice property but the bathroom could be better updated like the room. Shower head wasn’t great and could be cleaner in the shower. The first room we were placed in had immediate smoke odour…we immediately had to request for another room which the hotel staff was extremely understanding about our concern. The 2nd room was fine. We were facing the city and it was quite loud from vehicle noise. AC is extremely loud and likely for the reason that the walls are thin. You can hear your upstairs neighbours or those beside you. Parking was easy and gated.

We visited from Arizona and the area was very nice, quiet at night and dining options were walking distance. The Zoo was 10 minutes away, beaches an hour and a half away, national parks with waterfalls were an hour away. It was a great visit. The only issue we had was the bathroom smelled like sweaty gym socks.

Property was nice in general but the shower water pressure was worst ever & we could barley operate the shower in our room due to crappy plumbing that was not in proper condition. Not worth what I paid.

Front desk never around. Act inconvenienced. The phones didn't work so could not call down to the front desk. The room was clean and fine for the price, but the walls are thin and you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the next room.

Since I booked through this site and not Hotel Zags directly, I was unaware that I would be charged an “amenities fee” to cover things normally included like wifi, in-room coffee, and generic bottles of water. This fee also covers access to their game room, passes to the 24Hour fitness across the street and a “treat credit”. The room and staff were fine; it felt safe with on-site parking (extra charge). Overall, disappointed that the fee wasn’t explained anywhere as part of check in or in the room. When I asked about it after receiving the bill I was told it was to cover several “complimentary services”. I obviously have a different understanding of what that means.
