It was a nice, comfortable hotel in downtown Portland. It has a nice lobby & friendly staff. I just wonder where they get their interior decorator. The gaudy plaids & color scheme is not attractive or restful.

Truly The Best

Pros: The people who work there are real. They don't act like robots.
Cons: We'd prefer a harder bed; the bed was a little too soft for us.
Location: In downtown Portland with walking distance to all stores and restaurants.
It was one of the best stays I've ever experienced. The check in and check out process was fast and friendly. The valet staff was the most friendly and personable for a hotel. The room is nice and well designed to maximize its usage. The location couldn't have been better. We were there for two nights to celebrate my husband and my son's birthday during Mother's Day weekend. All three of us felt celebrated during the stay.

Great service in a Quirky Boutique Hotel

Loved the happy hour with music--although wine served was fair. Service was personalized, very attentive, and always with a smile. Decor is quirky, but fits Portland itself quite nicely.

Beautiful place to enjoy my vacation

Everything is perfect. Personal note in the room. Coffee in the morning. Water provides all day long. Even bottle water available when I walk out the hotel in the morning. Room is very roomy. We got the two queen suit and it was nicely decor. I would be back soon

I didn't like it!

Maybe they have better rooms,but we paid more than 300$ per night and was nothing special. We didn't expect to pay another 82$ for 2 nights overnight parking!And on top of all of these charges ,we paid another 40$ because my daughter tried to call my cell in the last 5 min of hotel staying!!! We end up paying more than 800$ for 2 nights at this hotel.For me was first and last stay at this hotel!!! Portland has lots of hotels and rentals for a nice experience.

Great hotel! Great location!

Pros: Great location. Fun atmosphere and décor.
Cons: We stayed in a King Suite which was wonderful, but the mattress definitely needs to be upgraded. At the very least rotated. It made for a long night
Location: Lot's of restaurants nearby and the Red Star Tavern is attached to the hotel and the food is great. Easy walking distance to shopping and Powell's.
We really enjoyed our recent stay at Hotel Monaco in Portland. We stayed in a King Suite which was wonderful, but the mattress definitely needs to be upgraded. At the very least rotated. It made for a long night of restless sleep. Other than that, we loved our stay at Hotel Monaco.

My recommendation is to always call our Guest Services team and see what we can do to make you comfortable or try a different room. New favorite hotel in Portland

First time at this hotel and I loved it! They upgraded me to a suite which was spacious. It had a pull-out couch and a nice table where I could work. Super friendly staff and I loved the lobby area. Lots of comfortable seating, so it was a good place to sit and work for a bit.
