They don’t have 24 hour turn down service but other than that it’s an amazing place and I’ll be back in March.

Excellent downtown hotel

Posted Dec 10, 2017
Pros: Large rooms and sitting area
Cons: Nothing...great s is!
Location: Close to restaurants and shopping. Trolley right outside. Quiet area.
Astayed here 4 years ago for our son's wedding and returned to meet with longtime friends. Excellent location with the bonus of the hotel providing free tickets for the trolley. Great walking area. Nice breakfast choices and common area is open for use 24 hours with coffe and rea available. Rooms are large and so easy to visit with friends in your room without feeling like you are all sitting on beds! Kitchen is stocked well. Free parking makes this property the best for your money!

It was an awesome hotel!

Posted Dec 3, 2017
Staff was very helpful and friendly! The interesting interior design of the hotel makes it a funky and fun place to stay. Free breakfast provides different varieties to choose from. 100% recommend to anyone that wants to stay somewhere that is different from the usual hotel experience. Hotel located in Northup and is in a cute and vibrant community.

Great Hotel for Families and Couples

Posted Nov 20, 2017
Pros: It's charm.
Location: We walked to the Chinese Gardens and the water walks. We had a 10 minute drive to the Japanese Gardens, Rose Garden, and a short ride to the Grotto.
This hotel is one-of-a-kind - very upbeat - yet homey at the same time. The decor is colorful and unique - like large jars of candies on each of the tables! Lovely breakfast - something for everyone. The colorful umbrellas to borrow come in handy! There are many restaurants in walking distance.

Convenient and Comfortable

A great spot from which to explore Portland. Very comfortable and quiet neighborhood. Loved the free parking, complimentary streetcar ticket and included continental breakfast which was ample with lots of healthy options.

Location: Location is great, close to the streetcar and lots of restaurants and the Century21 theatre.
It was like staying in a studio apartment, wonderful! Easily entertained 5 people.

This is a bright, cheerful hotel with friendly and competent staff. The location is superb with walking distance to many shops and restaurants and the streetcar is available right outside the building. So much quieter than the downtown core yet equally accessible to things of interest. We will return!!

Fun and Funky

Posted Oct 25, 2017
Pros: Fun, funky, artsy vibe.
Cons: There did seem to be a slight musty odor in the bathroom.
The Inn at Northrup Station is unique and I mean that in a good way. This was a fun, funky, artsy place to stay and is located just off trendy NW 23rd Street, which is full of shops and restaurants. The Inn is located right at the Northrup Station trolley stop -- how convenient is that! Our accommodations were large and comfortable with room to spread out (we didn't even realize when we booked it that a full kitchen was included!). The bedding was high-quality and was conducive to great sleeping. Our stay included breakfast, which consisted of various "help yourself" stations which included enough variety for most tastes, even packaged granola bars to grab on the go. The front desk staff was helpful and upbeat during all our encounters with them. The hotel planned daily activities, such as an ice cream social and a movie night and if our schedule hadn't been so jammed-packed while we were in Portland, we definitely would have joined in the fun.

Fantastically Funky

Posted Oct 5, 2017
Pros: The bold post-modern motif. The COFFEE!!!!! The staff. The size of the room. The trolley cars and balcony.
Cons: Those fridges are very loud. I was able to turn up the temp in mine, but the adjoining room's was right behind my head while I was trying to sleep.
Location: Alphabetized and numbered streets made navigation while walking easy and the walkable neighborhood was very pleasant to explore.
From the fun, bold colors and art to the picturesque exterior to the balconies where one can sip coffee while sampling cheese bought up the street at New Seasons, this hotel is an amazing place to stay. The staff are prompt, courteous and very, very nice. That is one of the biggest amenity any hotel can offer.
