great hotel and location

Posted Feb 12, 2017
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: restaurants and shops, rail system, 24 hour gym 4 blocks away
Nothing at all bad to say. Everything was great - staff, room, bed, happy hour, close by gym with a free pass (which is better than hotels own gyms by far), close walking to downtown shops and restaurants and a very good onsite restaurant, Free wifi. Parking is expensive everywhere in this area and you just have to pay.

River or city View.

Posted Dec 27, 2016
Pros: Pet friendly, location
Great location, warm staff, comfortable room and pet friendly; it is what you want. Our mini-suite had a great view of the Willamette River. Easy access to I-5 or downtown. Two thumbs and a paw up!

Hi Roger, I love your paw up line! I don't think you can find a better location than ours to bring your dog., There is plenty of green lawn for them to stretch their legs, we provide all your dog amenities (bowls, beds, treats, etc.) and oh by the way, no pet deposit. Thanks for visiting the RP and the great review! Ryan (GM)

Great hotel downtown

Posted Dec 11, 2016
One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Great staff. Great location. Great room. Great value. Had a condo by the river and it could not have been better. More than fully equippped. Looking for a reason to return to Portland so we can stay here!

Thanks for the review Steve! We can give you a hundred reasons to come back and visit Portland. Let's start with the restaurant scene, how about Powells books, wine country, the coast, Mt. Hood for some skiing, you get the idea. See you soon! Ryan (GM)

Great location, great staff!

Posted Nov 9, 2016
Our stay here was outstanding. It's right on the Willamette River and is walking distance to several nice restaurants. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Our room overlooked the river so was great to lay in bed in the morning watching the river traffic. Would definitely stay here again - this was our second stay!

Beautiful hotel in great location.

Posted Aug 13, 2016
Pros: Very comfortable and enjoyed borrowing a bike from the hotel.
We explored Portland from a perfect venue. We walked to Saturday Market. We enjoyed the restaurant at the hotel, Three Degrees, and also a variety of places within a pleasant strolling distance.

Hi Gidge, Nice work jumping on one of our bikes and exploring the Saturday Market! Our location is so ideal for a bike ride around the river and esplanade. As I am sure you are now aware, there is so much to do and see and doing it on a bike is certainly living like a local! Cheers, Ryan (GM)

Great staff but motel type room accommodations

Posted Aug 9, 2016
Pros: Staff and location
Cons: Room needs refreshing and room service needs help.
Location: Portland waterfront.
The room was more like a tired Holiday Inn. It was not worth paying double price per night to be at a decent location in a motel style room. Rock hard sofa type furniture blocks, one chair at a round table pushed into the corner, long skinny room so you can't see the TV from the bed. There was no place in the room for 2 humans to stay comfortable for more than 5 minutes. They do not change bedding daily unless you put in a special request. Housekeeping did not empty the ice container or wipe out soap dishes. The courtyard view was actually a daylight basement view of the gravel between wings. Windows are hard to operated and no screens. This not-so-luxury hotel provides one washcloth and one towel per person per day, most of us travelers prefer more. The ice machines are only on the top two floors. The room was overpriced for the accommodation and the parking rate is also the most I have ever paid. Do not book room 210.The staff was great,

Hi Dave, I would like to apologize that you were so disappointed in the guestroom accommodations. I wish you would have informed me during the visit so we could provided another guestroom that better suited your needs. We have some fantastic suites with river views and I would love to offer you one upon a future visit. Thank you for your feedback. Ryan (GM)
