good location, friendly staff, reasonable rates

Pros: easy in and out
Cons: bathroom dated
Location: restaurants handy---we were just passing through to Florida
short stay, easy access, fitted our needs and expectations, would come back

Convenient location and great price.

Location: Close to Maine Medical and only a few miles from downtown.
Nice, quiet location. Comfortable room. I picked this hotel because it was one of the few hotels that had a free breakfast, and it was the least expensive. It was worth it.

Nice staff but old hotel

Stale smoke smell everywhere- I woke up with a scratchy throat, congestion and a headache Staff was very accommodating when I left after 1 night instead of staying for my 2 night reservation Hotel is old and tired

Wonderfully clean! Great staff. About 1.5 mile walk (or $10 cab ride) to center w plenty of great restaurants, bars and shopping.

This hotel is so close to both the airport and the Old Port! Perfect price for the area!

Not clean and very outdated - simple things that could have been avoided like changing all linens on bed to avoid collection of hair, and appropriately re-finishing a leak issue with the ceiling.

Sheets seemed dirty when I got there but they changed them for me when I asked. Breakfast was delicious.

Just an older hotel in a somewhat isolated .

Pros: The staff was nice emough
Cons: It showed it's age. It wseems clean just older.
Location: Luckily Portland is not hard to navigate, but the hotel has nothing in obvious walking distance
We would stay here again, that being said if you need a one night place it is ok.
