Wonderfully clean! Great staff. About 1.5 mile walk (or $10 cab ride) to center w plenty of great restaurants, bars and shopping.

This hotel is so close to both the airport and the Old Port! Perfect price for the area!

Not clean and very outdated - simple things that could have been avoided like changing all linens on bed to avoid collection of hair, and appropriately re-finishing a leak issue with the ceiling.

Sheets seemed dirty when I got there but they changed them for me when I asked. Breakfast was delicious.

Just an older hotel in a somewhat isolated .

Pros: The staff was nice emough
Cons: It showed it's age. It wseems clean just older.
Location: Luckily Portland is not hard to navigate, but the hotel has nothing in obvious walking distance
We would stay here again, that being said if you need a one night place it is ok.

Too far from activities

Location: There is nothing to do nearby. All the action is 2 1/2 miles way by the waterfront. Checked out after first to move closer.
The room was very clean, which is my most important factor. The continental breakfast was very minimal.

Spent the entire weekend listening to what seemed to be a smoke alarm going off. I have no idea where in the hotel it was coming from, but it never go fixed. It lasted for 7 hours the first night, seemed to have gotten fixed, and then started back up again the following evening and lasted until about 10 am. I called the front desk both nights and again on Saturday morning and I was told I was the only one hearing it. Well my wife and two kids certainly heard it too. Not a fun weekend.
