Nice hotel and dog owners get nice rooms too

Posted Aug 27, 2015
Pros: Unlike our usual experience, we think our room was as nice as those traveling without dogs.
Location: Close to ball park, easy drive to the fabulous Deering Park and downtown Portland.
We travel every where with our two cocker spaniel. Too often we feel hotels assign us dirty, unkept rooms. Our room at LaQuinta was fantastic. The room was newly renovated and beautifully decorated. Thank you LaQuinta - we plan to stay at your hotels on every opportunity.

Good location

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: The bed.
Cons: Front desk employees. Breakfast.
Front desk people females not good at all when we got there and when we left the next day. Cleaning people great. Room had a smell so we got some deodorizing solution from the cleaning lady. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast nothing to write home about.

Basic Stay

Posted Aug 20, 2015
This is a no frills hotel, clean, comfortable and free breakfast. They also offer a shuttle to airport or bus terminal. Will have no problem staying here again.

Reliably Comfortable & Convenient

Posted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: Breakfast is really good with their waffle makers. My sister was thrilled to find they also had laundry facility.
Cons: Everything was as expected. Not fancy but clean and comfortable.
Location: Near to ferry and to airport.
La Quinta always has a nice reliably comfortable facility with convenient parking close to the airport. Airport shuttle was quick and comfortable. Our only negative was how expensive this La Quinta was $225 for one night including taxes - maybe because it was summer or Saturday rates (Aug 15)?

Nice clean option basically downtown

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: Clean, price, location
Cons: Breakfast area too small
Started to spend $400 downtown for a bigger name hotel but switched to this one at the last minute and so glad we did. This place is well run, very clean and just 2 minutes away. One of the better LQ.

Not an enjoyable experience

Posted Aug 17, 2015
After signing a form stating that we would not smoke in our room, I was surprised to find that our room smelled like an ashtray. The room was not clean. The television did not work, so we needed to call the front desk. The young lady who came to check out the TV was quite pleasant and was able to fix it. Stay somewhere else.

Would not return

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Not impressed. Room and beds are small, over-priced.
