Nice place but bad luck I guess

3 of the 6 jets in the jacuzzi didn't work. And the ac didn't work. And they said there was nothing they could do because we used expedia. Which I know was not true.

Good hotel if you like an extremely firm bed.

Staff is super nice but the rooms are meh. If you are like me and don't like firm beds then this isn't the place for you. Additionally the shower has poor water pressure and bathroom towels are like drying off with sandpaper. This was my first time staying here but I will stick with the other hotel across the street.

Pros: nothing
Cons: half made bed and funny smells
the place is old and smells funny, the staff lacks care and personality, the room layout is terrible and the tv entertainment is basic, bring your wallet for breakfast. the room did have a fridge but glad I wasn't at the hotel much, also the pool hours need to be extended and it is outside

Great Stay

Only inconvenience was the room keys were very touchy and didn't always work well.

Nice and clean but very average hotel.

Pros: Location and overall value.
Cons: Personalize the customer experience, and offer some fresh coffee in the lobby.
Location: Very close to shopping and dining, and very convenient to the highway.
The Monarch is very pleasant hotel, not new but well kept up, with a nice restaurant and lounge on site, and what looks to be a nice pool. It is very close to the mall and other shopping, and several nice dining options, we were able to walk to dinner. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the bathrooms showing their age, but very adequate, nothing really wrong. But don't expect ANYTHING extra, no hot coffee in the lobby in the mornings, no cookies in the evening, no USA Today newspapers, no personal greetings when you come and go, no little travel snacks when you check out, no little store for snacks or beverages in the lobby. It is just a good, clean hotel at a reasonable price in a good location.

Nice Hotel

Went to visit my Daughter. Hotel was very nice - only problem our room was right next to the freeway and very noisy. I did request a room change but they were booked. It was a bit disappointing since I booked this room in November. Besides that - Hotel was great, clean, excellent customer service.
