Wuaint and charmingPosted Jul 24, 2016
Old, historically listed house. Cool room and a comfy bed. Old TV, if you need one. Cool little town.

Stayed in the off season so a lot of things were closed and actually we were just on the way to Bar Harbor. This was a very nice inn and I would stay there again.

Old Orchard Beach Inn - A TreasurePosted Nov 2, 2015
I chose Old Orchard Beach Inn for a three day sabbatical and am so glad that I did! The town itself is a hop, skip, and a jump from Portland. Charm, warmth, incredibly kind owners, and a welcoming atmosphere you just can't find in a hotel environment. It is the oldest Bed and Breakfast in Maine dating back to the 1730's. Big band music echoes softly from the walls of the very cozy lobby every evening while you curl up in one of the comfy chairs with a warm homemade chocolate chip oatmeal cookie and cup of hot tea or coffee, compliments of the Inn. Christine made me feel welcomed from the very first moment and was always available to answer any questions I had about the area. She even asked me how my adventures were each day. Lily is just as friendly. Each room has it's own unique charm, and everything is immaculate. I am a light sleeper and noticed that the traffic noise was noticeable in any room facing the main road. I mentioned my concern to Christine upon check in, and she moved me to a perfect location without hesitation. Old Orchard Beach Inn was the perfect choice for my solo trip to Maine, and I definitely plan to return!

Our first BnBPosted Oct 30, 2015 on Hotels
This was a great place to stay! My husband and my first experience with a bed and breakfast. We loved it. It is an older house and style with a cozy room. Helpful staff. Lovely continental breakfast. It is right near the ocean, though we came in an off season, still fun to walk around. Not as many restaurants/shops open in the off months, but we found somewhere for dinner within walking distance. Would have stayed another night if our plans allowed. Definitely would recommend.

A lot of historical character but the bed needed updating squeaked like an Old wheel. We met some great people there that were fun to talk to at breakfast. We met some great people there that were fun to talk to at breakfast.

Oldtime charmPosted Oct 12, 2015
Pros: It definitely has an old New England feel to it. There are beams and floors in the old part of the Inn that are from the original 1731 building.
Location: There is a lot to do on the Maine coast, from walking beaches to visiting lighthouses.
The Old Orchard Beach Inn is a wonderful place, with a friendly and helpful staff (we got two days' recommendations for places to visit, and both places were great.
