The room was a very modern feel (like a NYC apt) and clean, but not much room to lay your luggage. No counter space in the bathroom (pedastal sink). No refrigerator. Great location to downtown & very close to transit systems. Staff was very friendly & accommodating.

Great place

Pros: The location was great and it was very clean and had free parking onsite.
Location: We enjoyed a Mel at the Mexican restaurant just around the corner
We've enjoyed this stop on our trip to Seattle, although one of us was awoken by noisy upstairs neighbours

Not what expected.

The outside did not match the picture shown on the site. The inside of the room was nice. Cute neighborhood.

Mixed feelings

We spent 20 minutes trying to find the front desk...in doing so found some creepy spots in the building we were staying at. No cameras. Dark areas...not a great safe feeling. Beyond that the rooms were clean but wayyy too small. I would not stay again.

overpriced for what you get

Cons: Overall, it was priced too high for what it was advertised for.
Location: Location was great which I'm sure is why they charged what they did. Found other hotel closer to city center, same price, we'll be there next time.
They advertised our room as a 'suite', but it was a very basic 'motel' room. It was overpriced for what you get. Small, no carpeting, cold feeling room.

Great staff

Pros: Comfortable rooms, great knowledgable staff
Cons: Outside corridors appear stained and dirty
Location: Close to bus route. Wish transit maps were available on arrival
Great representation for a fun city. Wish we had more time.

Close to downtown

The hotel is close to downtown, but definitely not worth the price. Rooms were clean but building is old so the floors creak when you walk on them plus the beds are super creaky. You can hear all the bed creakying in the rooms next to you. Overall I would get a hotel at the airport and drive In if you can.

Worst MoteI in which I have ever paid to stay

Pros: Nice bathroom towels, but nothing else. I would have forfeited the money and found another motel if I had time.
Cons: Absolutely everything! It was too late to find another motel.
Location: It's Portland, Many things to do, no time. If I had time I would have changed motels.
Smallest room ever, only two beds, no headboards, tiny dresser, no chair, filthy coffee maker, bare and dirty floor (no carpet), beds squeaky, sheets questionable, tiny bathroom, one small bar of soap for three people. Needless to say, we will never stay there again, and will be sure to warn our friends and acquaintances about our experience. It was too late to get our money back, and too late to find another motel because of our appointment. My wife asked me not to create a "scene", but I certainly was NOT HAPPY! I would have forfeited the money and found another motel if I had time.
