july 2015 kennebunk visitPosted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: only 4 or so miles from Kennebunkport; & it was clean ; up to date & comfortable
Cons: i didn't look for a free morning paper; there might have been one thou;
Location: there was a pizza place; Mcdonalds and supermarket nearby - as well as many other eateries; pharmacies and giftstores;churches and historic sites
the Port Inn in Kennebunk was the best bang for the buck in the Kennebunk/Kennebunkport area in my estimation for what we needed. One could spend the 300; to 350 to 400+; B & B's in kennebunkport (which would be good for the honeymooners) or the Large (Nautaluis? resort i think it is - in the village of Kennebunkport) .. but we rented a car to visit this area (Kennebunk/Kennebunkport) from Boston Logan airport and found The Port Inn in Kennebunk; was everything we liked. A clean comfy modern double room;with a heated/clean pool. In a nice quiet area. Good hot and cold breakfast offerings. there wasn't any thing dingy or dirty that i seen. It was well maintained. And only about 4 miles from the Port village shopping/dining of Kennebunkport. There was a big free parking lot about a 7 minute walk from the walk around tourist village/port town. So for us; the kennebunk location was not a problem.

Pros: Very clean comfortable room. Good complementary breakfast.
Cons: The coffee at breakfast was a little strong.
Location: Most of the good places to go are a short drive away like the shops and restaurants in the Kennebunkport Lower Village.
Real nice place. Enjoyed the pool. The complimentary breakfast was very good. Just a bit of a drive to the Lower Village of Kennebunkport that has a lot of restaurants and shopping.

PERFECT stay!!!Posted Jun 8, 2015
This was such s pleasant surprise!! The staff were the most helpful I've experienced in years! From the time of arrival to departure they went out of their way to exceed our needs! Our room was upgraded at no cost, and was very nice. It was extremely clean, well appointed and set up like a studio apartment! Would definitely make this my first choice!

Had an event in Ogunquit and stayed here for convenience, closeness and pet friendliness. I was so happy with my experience and I was ready to re-book the next day!

Un motel da considerarePosted May 31, 2015 on Hotels
Personale accogliente e disponibile, stanza comoda, ubicazione un po' decentrata ma adatta per chi vuole visitare i dintorni in auto. Colazione discreta.

Pros: Clean, clean, clean
Cons: earlier hours at the pool
Location: Maine Diner just down the way....great antique shopping....the beach
We stayed for just one night, but it was delightful. The room was clean, the pool was clean, the staff was friendly, and it was very close to everything in Kennebunkport! Great place to stay and would stay again next time.

Comfortable hotel and convenient locationPosted May 26, 2015 on Hotels
We stayed here for 2 nights in order to explore the coast of Maine over Memorial Day weekend. The hotel seems fairly new, so everything was modern and clean, the wifi is a little slow, but worked fine. The outdoor pool isn't huge, but decent enough and heated, and it's kept clean with someone skimming off leaves etc each morning. The only slight downside was the breakfast area - it is quite small if it's too chilly to make use of the patio seating. The hotel is good value for the location, it's only a short drive to Kennebunkport.
