The Regency is nestled into the Old Port and beautifully rustic. The rooms are large and balcony is a wonderful way to view the ocean and city.

Beautiful building right in Portland ME. Walking distance to so much of what Portland has to offer. Friendly staff and a later check out time which was incredibly convenient for us.

This property is amazing / they must have redone the place inside, including the rooms, because it looks all new since the last time I was here. Everyone there was super polite and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. I woke up at 3am to the sound of seagulls and flushing pipe sounds. Great places to have a drink or just hang out during the day. We came for the spa. Had a lovely seaweed body wrap. This place is perfect for a girlfriend getaway.

This property is nice and has a shuttle to and from the airport. The have a restaurant and spa that you can utilize but is expensive compared to quality in my opinion.

Nothing much they can change but the first floor rooms are SUPER noisy. Hallway, neighbors toilets and any water being used way very annoying when trying to sleep. Location was top notch.

I had a brief stay- the hotel was perfect for me alone, and everyone was really nice. It was lame that the restaurant closed at 10 and the people on my floor were so loud, but that wasn’t the hotels fault

There should be bar handles in all bathrooms the tubs are deep and it is not easy to get out. The pillows are too rough and ridged. Also I understand that if I wanted to have beds changed I would have to notify but I at least thought I would have maid service to make the bed and get fresh towels. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a get a way

The hotel is beautiful, BUT, there was a Hugh problem. The hotel is a total non-smoking, when a guest in the room next to me smoked a joint, my room was filled with smoke. I reported it to the front desk. Was told, without knowing for sure the room, there was nothing they could do. They did admit to the problem, but did nothing. It got worse before it got better. Meeting with management in the morning they refused to comp my room and was told because I booked through Expedia there was no reimbursement. $233 for a room, and being told tough luck chuck. I will never go back and hope lots of people see how they treat guest. There are a number of hotels in the area just a nice, book elsewhere m my.

My family and I had the most fantastic weekend with breakfast at the restaurant and a great whiskey taste before a concert at the State Theater along with a great walk through Old Port.

Visiting from New York because my son had a snowboard accident and ended up in Maine Medical Center less than 10 minutes away from the hotel. The free valet service drove me to and from the hospital the entire stay. They were fantastic. The hotel is located right in the middle of Old Port so walking everywhere was super nice. The hotel had a quaint charm to it and was kept very clean. My room with a king bed was cozy with a good size, clean bathroom. The front desk staff were excellent. If revisiting Portland, I would definitely stay here again.

The Portland Regency Hotel and Spa is beautiful. It's in the old Portland Armory and has been skillfully transformed into a gorgeous and comfortable hotel. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. Highly recommended !
