Older hotel nicely maintained

Posted May 31, 2017
Pros: Location, clean rooms, responsive and friendly staff.
Cons: Could use carpet upgrades in some areas.
Location: Already did in the experience category
Stayed because it was close to my daughters home, easy access to trains and the freeway. Also near the zoo, rose gardens and other attractions. Pleasant stay, nice restaurant. Older facility and could use upgrading of carpet, etc in some areas, but a good deal for the price. I will definitely stay here again.

Will not go back there

Posted May 30, 2017
Pros: See above........................
Cons: See above.......................
Location: There was nothing we saw close enough to walk to, unless you wanted to buy marijuana or go to a place called "XPose".
The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot and had really good pressure. The towels were amazingly soft and absorbunt. Those were the good things that allowed us to overlook the rest.................. The rooms were in serious need of a makeover, more than just the sleek white, no comforter look on the beds. The lighting in the rooms was horrible, including an actual round florescent light fixture on the ceiling just inside the door. Our rooms were at the lower corner (the whole place is built on a rather steep slope and terraced) and going up to the front desk or to the banquet room for breakfast was either a huge amount of stair climbing (which I can't do), walking up this steep driveway (which I can't do), or driving up there. Obviously there was no elevator. We actually went out for breakfast the first morning, after sending my SIL up to check out what the free breakfast was in the banquet room. There was no hot food at all for breakfast but at least they did have hard boiled eggs for us diabetics, however, I had to peel the eggs myself. That was the only protein source, though. We did eat there the morning we checked out as we wanted to get a somewhat early start. The staff who was taking care of the breakfast was really really on top of things, though, and very nice. Oh yes, and the vending machine closest to our rooms was out of order . It was within 3-4 miles of the places we wanted to go, however, which is mainly why I booked there in the first place

Perfect location, needs painting immediately.

Posted May 23, 2017
Location ideal for doctor appointment, shopping, setting is a peaceful oasis in busy area. Unsettling to sit in courtyard and see the exterior building desperately needs painting and cleaning.

Older inn, but clean and fully equipped.

Posted May 19, 2017
Pros: Not too far from town, priced right.
On our way from Vancouver to SF, need a place to stay. We were lost in Beaverton, got the inn's number from online, they were able to direct us, and we spent a pleasant night.

Over stated under delivered

Pool not running. Spa not working. TV not working. After complaining we were still put in a room next to a noisey road, and then moved again. Would not stay there again.

Reasonably close to OHSU

The hotel was much cleaner and has been upgraded since the last time I stayed there. The only thing missing was a comfortable chair to sit in to read and/or watch t.v.
